Boy the one thing you said, “I wish I was a real goddess because I’d scoop up all the children & save them and protect them”… powerful❗️🦋. I want to do this every day for all children who have experienced the atrocities that bad bad people heap on them. I’ve never understood why this is tolerated…. I don’t know the answers either.

Emily this video is so heartfelt and I can feel your anger and pain. I know how draining being an empath can be. Thank you for being so honest, vulnerable on this video. I have watched on and off the atrocities of what is going on, when I do it pisses me off beyond words. I want to reach through the screen and throttle those that are causing this. I want to help all those and it has brought me to tears more than once. I can't watch it often, as it drains me and exhaust me mentally. Because my mind is trying to understand the whys of all this and cannot fathom why governments and that do this to each other. You want to send a lightening bolt to strike down all those that cause this and let them feel the pain. Or let them actually feel all the pain they have caused all these people in their minds and they would go mental or die from the pain. It would be like stop all this, because this is the pain and anguish you have caused over the many years and still are. I learned years ago to build a daily barrier buffer from others, or I would feel so much different emotions of everyone and their moods. I would go from being extremely happy and then sad in a matter of minutes at times. I didn't realize this until I was in my late teens that I was an empath. Funerals and Hospitals can be the worst for me to attend or go into. I have to put a strong barrier up or I will have to step out of the space to get my emotions under control. Now as for chronic pain, I know first hand as I have had chronic pain since I was 17 years old and I am turning 51 on June 23rd. I have tried many things over the years. I use vitamins, herbal supplements, arthritis pain relievers(OTC), and my own essential oil blends that help with my pain. Herbs help as well, you can make some teas. I have used poultices for things as well in the past. But my oils work the best for me, which I need to make another batch. I know it works for arthritis, chronic pain, neuropathy, bruising, pulled muscles and such. My family and friends have used it as well, they all love it. I have been working with Lilith only a short time, Hekate called me several years ago and she is still one of my main goddesses, Morrigan has been with me since I started my spiritual path in 98. Working with Lilith has been a ride so far. I am working with her on my own and taking the mini course of Elena's for The Holy Witch. Just starting that and doing a lot of shadow work from my past and that has been very very emotional. I used to be all bright and light, but working with the dark goddesses feels like I have came home and is were my heart and soul is. My shadow work has even called me to change my own name, to get a fresh start and let my past be in the past and for it to not have that hold on me any longer. To let part of me die and be reborn. I have chosen the name: Raven Amethyst Sage and then taking my hubbies last name in the fall, so Snyder will be added to the end of that. Taking two middle names. Sorry for the long winded post Emily, had a lot to say I guess. Hugs to you, wanted to hug you so bad when you broke down and cried. Felt that you needed a hug or a hand squeeze so you knew you were not alone.

Also, the bit at the end about “sin”. I don’t believe there is such thing as “sin”. That is made up by the church. Marianne Williamson said she believes we need to replace that word with mistake or error. I like that. You mentioned the collective grief… funny I have been saying that to my friends for several years now who have sensed this in society as a whole, then we feel it. They talk to me about these feelings because they can’t pinpoint it. I remind them, it the collective [grief, fear, depressive feelings, anger] any of it - and we’re going through a rough transition we’ve known for a long time was coming. We gotta identify it to protect our selves a bit more. Sad.

Yes absolutely! In this powerful hashtag and project from Jasmyne Ambrosia and Trish Beanbaghagwag we reclaim the power of what has been labelled as 'sins' by Christian indoctrination. This project subverts those back again and transmutes them; so we can fully embrace what is beautiful, powerful, liberating, uplifting and healing about the truth of what these "sins" mean. How each can be embraced and reclaimed to take back our power as magical people with a purpose to empower others and create a better world we want to live in. ❤ There is so much that is beautiful and powerful in those traits that are have been considered by the Church as 'sins'; really they are human traits; and absolutely they were labelled 'sins' to control the masses. I love that as Witches we can reclaim these and our own authority and show up with integrity and authenticity. Thank you so much for sharing the resource and quote, and for your thoughts on the collective. It is true. Amazing. I have a story that happened just a few weeks ago. For the last six or so months I’ve been so drawn to work with Lilith. I started to really dedicate myself, my time, researching Her and really just feel so called to work together. Well, about a month ago I was in my back yard and out comes a garter snake. I live in NYC and yeah I’m sure they’re all around however I’ve only seen them twice, the last being after wanting to work with and embrace Lilith into my life. I set my hand flat down and She slithered right onto my hand and then off it. Do you think that was a sign? I already know the answer in my heart but since I’m still a “baby witch” I’d love to hear your take & feedback and even what that encounter means?

Emily, I’m not much of a writer and very much a voice note type so bare with me a minute 😅 Apart from the visualisation experiences (I have no minds eye) I could have said all of this myself. My 7 and 10 year old children are both neuro diverse shall we say but I may be disappointed if they were ‘normal’!! 😂 I’ve been in chronic pain since I was 26, I’m 41 now. I think all of my emotions go to my body and that’s why allowing myself to feel more difficult emotions has been so important; as a highly sensitive person I learned early on not to feel because it’s too much, I think that’s why no minds eye as well because I couldn’t take being able to recall the horrors seen in the world. Righteous rage has been so freeing but I avoided it for so long (until reading a Danielle Dulsky book) because I felt like I’d be contributing to the anger and pain in the world if I wasn’t just sending love out there but the rage is within me for all of the injustice in the world and using that energy to spur me in to action without demonising or hating the persecutors. May they all find their way. Anyway from this Devonshire woman thank you for your openness and authenticity!
