Here I take a few old, vintage tools like a T-handle, a Speeder Wrench and my old Snap on split beam torque wrench and go through some steps to do the basic job of working on the spark plugs of my 1993 BMW R100R. One needed some adjustment so I show that also.
I use a few different older tools and I take my time explaining some basics, but it's a pretty simple job and anyone can do it. It's a lot simpler if you don't also record a video of the whole process.
I hope this helps someone. Enjoy.

Love your vintage Snap On set. Do you have metric sockets?

Yes I do. The ones in the box shown are standard, but I also have a vintage set of metric sockets. I simply did not need sockets for this job. Everything still works great. The socket+extension I use on the second spark plug is not so old (it just happened to fit the vintage box perfectly), maybe from the 1990s as I bought that new for a car I had at the time rather than as a working collection. I guess if I keep my 90s tools long enough they’ll become vintage collectibles too. : ) Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the comment. Cheers.

@@ShadowBoxer I'd view them as usable regardless of how old they are.

@@GarthGoldberg • Yes I agree. As a matter of fact, a few days ago I got an old 1/4 drive ratchet (GM-70M). It works fine, fits and snaps together with all parts of a 1/4 dr. socket set I got back in the 90s. This old ratchet could work with any 1/4 drive I could buy today. This "new" ratchet is dated 1947. As you and I said, regardless of age, these old tools work just fine and can still get the job done. By the way, why do you ask about metric sockets? Thanks for the comments. Cheers.
