I know this is WAY too late to comment on but... It makes total sense, Sylvanas has been a *Chaos god* all along. Feeding on the emotions and praise of here...fanbase.

So, over a year later and I can safely say that Blizzard pulled a FFXIV and turned Sylvanas into a Primal, furled by those who worship her. It all makes sense now.

But I think he would be sent to Revendreth before that, in order to be punished for his sins and earn his redemption. But after some centuries in Revendreth, he would certainly be sent to Maldraxxas :D

@Deathcoldan nah, he was right about Sylvanas. But he did some pretty fucked up things, and that's why I think he would be sent to Revendreth. It's the place where prideful or flawed souls go in order to endure punishment and be redeemed. After that he would be sent to Maldraxxas and become a protector of the Shadowlands. He certainly wouldn't be in the Maw, wich is the place where only the most vile and irredeemable souls are sent.

Don't mind just a friendly necromancer here. You do realize that it's not '' her '' master plan right? There have been quests and interactions with NPC's that show something much bigger and stronger is pulling the strings behind the curtain. Vol'jin's spirit being highjacked and the loa being coaxed to turn Sylvanas into a warlord and even someone as strong as Bwonsamdi having souls stolen from him.

@@TheMr0utside While you do have a point, a good portion of this is still *Sylvanas*. Surely you've heard the saying that goes something along the lines of, "The darkness has to already be there for someone to influence it?" Same deal here. Sylvanas has slowly slipped off her rocker more and more ever since we killed Arthas and she was *still* denied her eternal sleep. Granted, for the early parts of her story it was told rather decently. But over time shoddy story writing has left Sylvanas as a shell of her former self, prime pickings for whatever it is that seems to be pulling strings behind scenes. At this point, she's nearly as bad as Garrosh. Can we just get a single expansion that isn't the Horde coming off as the bad guys? Just once I'd like for the Alliance to be the faction that's perceived as evil or doing things that the general population dislikes greatly.

@@azurblueknights But lore wise the horde is basically the bad guys. The Orcs got corrupted and destroyed their own planet while murdering the draenei. The Trolls had an empire that fell during the shattering and most of then turned to forbidden evil gods. The undead... are the undead. The blood elves basically tried to summon Kil'Jaeden. Even when the orcs came to the '' new word '' Azeroth the first parties that came through were there to pillage. One of the few leaders of the horde that did not wish for war does so because they were basically raised by humans (Thrall). There is nothing wrong with being the '' bad guy '' in WoW's lore since being bad usually depends on what side of the green grass you are on.

@@TheMr0utside Okay, but there's a difference between "being corrupted and then murdering the draenei and destroying your own planet" and "being a psychopathic bitch with her bloomers in a twist because Arthas' curse prevents her from dying." That is the entirety of her character right now. She's pissed off that killing the Lich King didn't do a damn thing to free her so now everyone else in the world has to also suffer or be trampled underfoot. And whoever might be pulling the strings from the shadows is just amplifying that.

Who the fuck ever gave a single fuck about Bolvar fucking Fordragon as the Lich King? To be honest, I even would found it believable if Sylvanas would have defeated Bolvar without a power up. She had been Arthas rival for quite some time, she was always a powerful banshee with the ability to disrupt magical abilities and probably the best archer in all of Azeroth, that was her lore. Bolvar on the other hand? He was just some random paladin who got roasted and then got the helmet put on when no other soul inhabited it. And afterwards, he basically never used his powers as a Lich King in any meaningful way, he was most of the time busy holding the Scourge down and not losing control over all of the undead. He didn't even had a real runeblade. He was basically just the first person to volunteer sitting on the throne and getting the crown because of that. Arthas had been a different beast, he had been the most powerful Death Knight ever already before ascending the throne and when he took the helm of domination, he managed to wrestle control fully from Ner'zhul and destroy his consciousness. And he actively lead the Scourge all those years, even when he was slumbering, increasing the size of his army all the time, creating more and more abominations to bolster his ranks.
