Flat Iron Crossing Concert Series! Sorry for the awkward close ups on my face, i wasn't filming. ANYWAY please comment/like/subscribe and tell me what you think:)
Nice job actually hitting those low notes! The back-up singer was a bit flat, but Benatar is probably one of the most challenging singers in rock to cover. Kudos!
Good job! Pat Benatar songs are hard to cover because her voice has tremendous power and range. But you put a lot of heart into it and it turned out well!
Despite the poor audio quality of this recording it sounded like you did a great job Abby! Pat Benatar songs are tough because she had such a distintive and powerful voice but it sounds like you nailed it!
Not only is song tricky to siing lead but in order to really pull the song off live, you need really good harmony vocals to capture that big chorus. Kusos to the back up singer for doing a great job as well. That is a high pitch harmony that is not easy to do
I listened 3 times..did she miss a part?! And now the hands of time are standing still...midnight angel won't you say you will?!! (This is in no way criticism)
Well I love this song, it was the favorite of one o' my youthful unrequited loves. Abby is really cute, and a helluva singer ... but I identify w/ the guitarist. The 5 o'clock shadow ... the deadpan expression ... the watchful demeanor: In my line o' work, we call 'em Quiet Professionals. He looks like an ФСБ bodyguard. I'm gonna venture a wild guess that the dark-haired back-up singer is Abby's mom & the guitarist is her dad. Never mind my conspiratorial sociologic observations: Great job musically, y'all just ignore the nitpickers.
The voice must have something remarkable. Even from a young age this can be evident. This is far removed. Whats important is that not all that can be shared has to happen so soon. So much can happen latter
