Man, Corax lurking in the rafters of Lorgar's house porch waiting to mug him for his lunch money has never sounded so awesome.

I love that ending. It highlights their current mindsets so well. Lorgar relying on his beliefs. Corvus consumed by his revenge.

The switch to harsh vocals gave me genuine goosebumps

I will never forget the Heresy moment of istvann, when Lorgar had his Dragon Ball Z Power-Up moment only for Corax to swoop in, slaugthter all of his body guard and almost instantly kill Lorgar if it wasnt for Konrad.

Everyone's talking about the vocal switch up, but the line that hit me hardest was I would have called you brother in brighter days. It's always tragic when Brothers must go to battle.

An unexpected surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.

When logar learned why a group of crows is called a murder

i have waited excitedly for this song for over a year and it has not only met my expectations but shattered them in its greatness.

There is actually a Theory that the daemonization of the Traitors blocked their full potential aka being powerful warp beings stronger than Greater Daemons in their own right.

This song gives me some heavy Rhapsody of Fire vibes, specially on Lorgar's parts.

That was perfect. Just perfect. Especially the last line. And then getting recommended "The perfect cherry blossom" was the cherry on the top.

Corvus corax with a single goal and remembering all that who were lost and what was lost. Despite the warps (mainly the areas where chaos owns )tendency to corrupt he pushed through and growing stronger. Another step in becoming as powerful as his father but differently. The lord of ravens.

I wasn't prepared for the growl part near the end of the song, good god did it hit me hard!

I love my boy Corax. "Oh I've become some sort of raven demon? Fine, I'll keep hunting in the name of vengeance and the emperor" While Lorgar is still whining about his so-called "truth" , lamenting the sacrifices he gleefully and willingly made

I know I joked in the past about StringStorm's musical, but look into my eyes and tell me that you can't imagine this being a theater recording. Like, this is just bait, the way the vocals rub against each other, the melodic dialogue set up, the music intermission, it's all done purposefully by Stringstorm so that AI bot inside your head spits out 'Hamilton but WH40k' prompt images.

StringStorm's content is always pure unadulterated awesomeness.

Brave of you to do this. Also, love the Lorgar's voice, as well as his disillusionment.

this got me to finally read the story, and it was really good didnt expect lorgar to get bodied as hard as he did in the story, i love how he basically locked himself in his tower to sulk after

I like this song. It is atmospheric, bombastic and tragic in its own way. Music and lyrics perfectly reflect the atmosphere of the confrontation between Corvus and Lorgar, and the tragedy of the situation where two brothers met to kill each other, and the fact that both are no longer what they were or what they were supposed to be. One is a herald of evil, the other a dark monster born of revenge.

As always with stringstorm: 1st listen - meh 2nd listen - its not that bad 3rd and more - Im going to listen to this masterpiece for the next month

The part where they show their demonic voices was epic

I love that in this, lorgae has the same confidence throughout the fight but in the book he literally has to limp to safety after his sons save because corax almost killed him.

"I shall end you at any cost." Lorgar saying that while hiding in his tower for thousands of years...doesn't make this work for him too well. Corvax literally killing ANY of the Word Bearers that try to approach and help their primarch for thousands of years? Yeah this line hits hard.

I both like and dislike the screaming at the end, on one hand it scared the shit out of me, on the other hand it is really thematically cool ,at it represents them both entering their new forms, lorgar ascending as a demon prince and corvus becoming the crazy raven demon.

Shame this song isn't in Spotify yet, it would be my new most listened song.

While this is fitting, from a musical standpoint, I'm very let down by Lorgar's voice (not the singer, only how it was directed). The Finale makes up for it tho! The lyrics are divine, as expected! And Corvus absolutely rocked his lines, as the singer always does! Being a Word Bearer player from the Heresy, I'm glad we were given flesh through this confrontation. Thank you!
