It seems very complicated to make this loft, but it's nice, I guess I will also one day have something like this .., good luck and good health to you and pigeons ...
Thanks everyone, I am using the loft without any changes and everything is working perfectly. It took me a year to build it so everything was well thought out and working well. There is one thing i am thinking of changing not because it doesn't work but it would make it easier to catch the birds. I want to put a rod from the handle on the aviary door and extend it through the wall so I can pull the door closed from the outside. When i go in the loft the birds fly out before I can close the door.
It will all pay off in the long run. I often end up to spend more money buying things that end up to through them away before I finally get to where you are. Your Loft video is a lesson for some of us. Thanks
Would have loved to see it in the building process. Fantastic job, changed my way of building lofts forever more. If you could post a more in depth video as to how it's coming along. I dont think any one would mind. Or if this is the breeder loft maybe one of the main. Best of luck.
The details you have put into this loft set it in a class above. It is a dream loft design! The workmanship is as good as it gets. It's clear to see that there was the right balance in the design process and the building process. Most lofts I've been in are functionally simplistic, this one is complex yet flyer & pigeon friendly. I'm very impressed! My question is this, is there anything you forgot, and got too far to integrate it in the loft? What would be different if you build another?
Do saddle backs have the endurance for the long race, 600+miles. Also why arent people interested in red checkered homers anymore. As for ur breeding loft its truly a master piece. God bless brother
Beautiful job designing your loft.I used to keep racing pigeons years ago.My friend still has his pigeons. So sorry to see the sport die like it has.Are you still racing birds. Are there enough clubs around to still race?
