Definitely one of their best compulsory dances. The ones they skated well were the Silver Samba and this one.

Have you ever saw them performing yankee polka? It may have been another dance where they could have done well

@@MsRumex I've not seen that one. That dance requires a lot of sharp staccato movements. I wonder if they were too slow for that type of program. But I'm not sure.

@@gk891 They should have beaten Lobacheva & Averbuhk easily in this dance. L&A's was awful, this is one of their worst compulsories in fact. Their free legs are hideous. Drobiazko & Vanagas, and Denkova & Stayviski also should have beaten the Russians in this dance, and possibly Navak & Kostomarov. L&A came 1st easily of course, with nearly all 1st place ordinals and much higher scores than both B&K and D&V in 2nd and 3rd. The dye was cast from the Olympics. After nearly winning there (crazy) they were winning here, unless they fell twice in the free dance.

@@grantgoffin4774 There is a comparison video of L&A with not only the Canadians, Lithuanians, and Israelis but also another one with the Ukrainians, #2 Russians (N&K), and Germans. And L&A were the worst out of all of them!

A big no-no. Quickstep requires lots of jumps and energy. Too slow for QS. I would say that was not QS. As if they took movements from their previous slower dance and just applied it here.
