Your Majasty we miss you and after you we are a lost nation Iranians will remember you as oe who cared about Iran and Iranians We were a proud nation under your rule. Long Live Reza II Payandeh Iran
History is the best judge of all leaders and His Imperial Majesty Shahanshah Aryamehr is remembered today as the most visionary, patriotic and benevolent leader that any people could ask for. It is a shame that the people of Iran did not appreciate him then and now are paying such a heavy price.
@lalasoltan, every time Shah/Farah came to Mash-had, there was a ceremony just below the airplane with a girl running to Shah & a boy to Farah with flowers. I was that boy until I was 9 years old & I still remember the verse I had to say to Farah. She used to pick me up & kiss me on my cheek. I remember smell of her perfume & make-up. Farah/Shah used to take our hands, walk to the welcome team which singed a song for them. In the end, Savak's security guards drove me home to my proud parents.
Thank you CELLCELLPHONE, you are one the very few being realist. People who cannot deal with this fact, have missed the whole point about Iran. This was absolutely one of the greatest comments I have read here.
Agree! Forget all crowns and turbans. Leave all idols behind... There is only one important thing and that is we IRANIAN. Nothing, no ideology, no idols, Shah or Khomeini should come between us!
All is not lost. Shah was a good man but he was not Perfect. Remember that we all strive to be like Cyrus the Great. Education, social improvement, military fortification, and unification. Protection of Persian Heritage regardless of racial background and serving of our nation. We might be a nation dispersed all over the world but we all love Persia (Iran). The Persian heritage is too strong to die with one man. May he rest in peace for the good he did, and be forgiven for his flaws.
@lolasoltan, comment 1, when I was 8 years, we lived in Mash-had. Our backyard was wall to wall to ostand-dar Vallian & in other side of the road was the palace of Shah. Shah visited Mash-had twice a year to pray at Haram-e Imam Reza. For every visit the path Airport-Palace-Haram, all road lines were repainted, walls was cleaned, if there was asphalt patch they would put new asphalt, flowers every where. If you were living on this holly path, your street would be renovated twice a year.
rip shah u are really really missed what a pity such a great man great leader a person who really loved his people and country a wise and intellegent man who had the economy booming and had people from europe crossing the world to work and earn money in our beautiful country iran u are sadly missed by the true people of persia iran rip shah
His Imperial Majesty indeed made a mistake by dismissing Mossadegh. He listened to the wrong people and later, sadly too late, realized that. However, his love for the Iranian race was of the greatest kind. I haven't been back to Iran since I had to flee the clerical fanatics in 1979 and I pray every day that our rightful ruler, Reza Shah II, will lead us back to our homeland in the near future. God bless the beautiful and loving soul of HIM Mohammad Reza Shah, Shahanshah, Aryamehr!
The SHAH of Iran what a man.Perfect.unique.fantastic.The SHAH was so good and kind but we were so bad and ungrateful.May be we deserve this non Iranian islamic regime.
Although I loved the song in this passionate and emotional context... I wish we Iranian nation would grow up soon and realize we can not any longer consider our selves as an powerful nation with an aristocratic culture which not only irritates the democratic, socialist and free Western world, but demonstrate the superiority message and belief which is sadly in our corrupted culture.
A great king with one purpose. Having seen the tamadon of persians as far as culture and emotion goes, made many deals with the west to now modernize the country. To build a country better than anywhere bcuz with a culture as old as ours once modernized we would be more complete than any. So educated, so nationalistic, so proud and loving so much he wasn't willing to use excessive force. He left flying the plain himself with tears. God bless him. Shame on all of us ke jav gerefte boodemoon.
Stay where you are, you're not needed. There are millions of others who will take your place. Your ilk is too small and minor for us to simply sacrifice our pride and independency. Looking back, I'm actually glad that your type decided to flee Iran. The further away you are, the happier we are. It's hysterical and satisfying to see people wailing at the Shah's past. It's just confirmation that the Revolution was the right route to take.
He took advice, but he was not a puppet. He often bowed to pressure, but reluctantly. And he did not make it easy for those who tried to control him. Not easy at all.
@lalasoltan, I do believe that you and @goldentimeofpersia and I are all very much in love in Iran. I have no doubt about your strong feelings. I am not here to satisfy my feelings about certain families in our history. I am here as a scientist seeing the problem of my country and come with constructive solutions. For success in Iran we need unity of Iranian, and we can do that only if we stop worshiping individuals who wake extreme feelings in many other Iranian and divide us apart.
@goldentimeofpersia, Would you please write in your comments that you are a SHAH DOOST and follower too, because otherwise people visiting this page will not know about you as Saltanat-talab what a style you have with your words and behavour. Merci, dastet dard nakone khodet terr mizani be heykale khodet ;)
May god bless him, I hate nowadays iran. It is soo embarassing to tell people where you come from. they call you nasty things. back in the old day it was an honour to come from iran.
@goldentime, as we can see by your comments here, it is obvious that you are one the people responsible for how our Iran looks like today. Because if you are as mature and old enough you should know that if Shah and kind of people as you had done a good job, the result would be good too.
This is true about every monarch u have to deal with sensitive issues with care .If he would have done it at that time he will be king even now.I think he was much more progressive but his own people betrayed him.

When shah was in Iran, then Iran var a better country. More modern at that time, much richer. They had more friends too, and if he was there today so many people would'nt be hungry.
The Shahanshah was pressured by Carter to allow more democracy. He did and his subjects interpreted it as a sign of weakness. SO - they got what they deserved !
@lalasoltan, I understand your idealism & I like it and share many of your ideas. Our idealism tells what is right but misses a practical approach to make a move. We have to be political, practical and realist otherwise our idealism is a dream. Undeniably religion is one of the main keys to make a change in Iran. We need our team of religious elite group supporting and dismissing today's religious authority in Iran. This great weapon "religion" need to be neutralized and rather be used by us.
@lalasoltan, I like your idea & like to see constitutional monarchy as in Belgium/Sweden/Denmark/Spain etc where the King has ceremonial function, not involved in politics. King becomes symbol for country & people. I don't think majority of Shah supporters are sharing this healthy view you have on a new constitution in Iran. They have such strong feelings toward the Shah that it makes them a threat to the Iranian people & its democracy when Shah as icon comes before the interest of people.
Where do you get the idea that British installed Islamic Republic? Please refer to proper documentations and studies! I am crazy about finding some evidence!!!
@lalasoltan,interesting point. What is really "Javid Shah" associated to? I have very strong connections to Shah's followers. I don't think they mean what u are saying. This is a loyalty slogan to an individual/family as Pahlavi not people/country/ideology/view. For me "Javid Shah" is identification of my extreme loyalty toward a person who knows what is best for Iran "if he does it, it is right". Very interesting and I will take this up in our next "mehmooni" and ask my Shah-lover friends :)
Question for Gimmick: What did Islam ever do to him/her? Terror and bloodshed where ever it spreads? I am a convert to Islam. Personally, following Islam did nothing but elevate me and better me as a man and a human being. I went to Makkah last year, in May, down season, very few Arabs were there, mostly Persians and Turks. Tens of thousands of them. I can tell you now: Iran and Turkey are Far far far far from secular. These were people of deep piety, belief and love for God.
@lalasoltan, one more thing: if you don't mind, please let me know what you find "dangerous" with my comment too? I got quite curious about what you find dangerous.
khoda biamorze arteshbod badrei ro..ham ilie ma bood..yani oon az badrei haye shahabade kermanshah bood va man az badrei haye ilam...be har hal marde sharifi bood...yek vatan paraste vaghei...roohesh shad...
I cant believe how those dogs bowl down before him, I don't care how smart he was it still doesn't mean he's adorable, is this how we Iranian are treated by our leaders? That dusky brown skin Shah was no better then the current regime, dude! At least non of them are as dark as he is!!!! Since we're talking superiority here. We Iranians really need to rethink the type of relation we share with our leaders, I mean, its really past time we do.
It is so sad, I am happy Shah is not alive to see what happend to Iran after that, history will judge about him and novelist, intelecuals and journalist who 28 years are ling about Shah.
@lalasoltan, personally, I never sympathize with any group with such strong slogans because of feelings for a person. I do like many of our Iranian leaders as Shah but appreciating what Shah has done as employee of Iranian people paid by Iranian's money is something, making him to a saint is something else. Fanaticism has been researched carefully past 50 years and trusts me on this; these types of slogans are the clearest and strongest sign of dictatorship.
Which kings? Kings with turbans or crowns? To specify myself better: Do you love Kings with a hat of "metal and stones" on his head or a "shawl" around his head?
@goldentimeofpersia, Would you please write in your comments that you are a Shah follower too, because otherwise people visiting the page will not know that these are a Saltanat-talab words and behaviour. Merci, dastet dard nakone khodet terr mizani be heykale khodet ;)
The Shah was no Angel but either is Aliev in Azerbaijan. Azeris are proud Iranian nationalists, and any Azeris who are bitches to foreign agitators and call for seperation, including in Baku, deserve what Reza Shah I gave them! Payandeh Iran, Yashasin IRAN
Iran shall be a great country again. The great Iranian people have seen the lies of the lying and hypocritical ayatollahs. Iran shall be free again!! The Arabs are trying the same thing in Turkey. They want to stage an islamic revolution there, but they will fail. God bless the Shah!!

@lalasoltan, every time Shah was visiting the Haram, 2 photographs, normally agents were taking pictures of Shah while he was praying. These pictures were studied by 3 different agencies before few were chosen and forwarded to media. Image of a person has nothing to do with the truth. He might be a good Muslim; he might play politics by praying. 2nd option would make me happier, but the thing is that he doesn't have an image of respecting and defending Islamic values. Shah II missing that too.

The iranian people dosent still understand that you have to stand on a side no mather what. Either you are on RUssias side or USA. It's just to pick a side. Im sorry but you people dont undertand this.. He was a great man a wonderful man may him rest in peace JAVIIIIIIIIIIIID SHAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
@goldentime, che nooni? Mage Shah-e Iran az jibe khodesh pool gozasht? In pooli ke be daste mardom miresid haghe mossaalame mardom ma boode va hast! Mage mardome Iran too mamlekate khodeshoon mehmoon kassi hastan, ke be ye khanevadeh bedehkar bashan, hala che esme khanevadeh Pahlavi bashe che Khomeini.
@lalasoltan, hehe... you are right. I want to make @goldentimeofpersia realize he is not doing himself or any Shah-doost a favor by acting as he did... (just read his comments). This is a great weapon turning ones words representing your personality (as you have tried using on me,), but this time I was defending myself and was replying his extreme courses.
@lalasoltan, another problem is that many Iranian sharing hatred toward Pahlavi family, as many have toward the Imam. This is a huge obstacle for progress toward unity of Iranian people. I by myself believe in the goodwill of Shah II for democratic Iran, but the Image of the Pahlavi family is associated to Iron Hand, huge expenses and extravagance & luxurious friends with connections in goverment, puppet of foreign countries, advertisement of western culture and very anti Islamic.
Be Proud of your Heritage. Be Proud of Being Perssians Be Proud of Your Language WE Are NOT NOT ARABS. Mullah's Even don't speak Pharsi .90% of what they say is ARABIC. GOD save THE NEW KING . Hail Darius
