I dont see why ppl are comparing Raees with Kabil. There is no comparison of Hritik with Srk. Hritik is one of the many actors in Bollywood. Shahrukh has become a legend. Theres no comparison.
TheSlimmshadyy acting chops that SRK shows in movie are commendable, his voice and movies dialogues just wow. See Hritik still has some time to get that fame, and I feel kabils story is very predictable but raees i just dont know the story...
Actually,this movie "Raees" is loosely based on Gujarat underworld Don Late. Abdul Latif's life.He too was a liquor baron in Gujarat and was wanted in 93 blast case of Mumbai(then Bombay).
Dont go to critics it was one of the best movie of SRK's career . I dont think why it is so underrated. But really this was one of the best movie . Must watch this.
Watching this trailer after the release of Jawan and wondering how the Indian cinema audience missed a masterpiece like this. It was a far far better cinematic experience than that of Pushpa.
Not really. Story of Raees was good however screenplay had a problem. And some good scenes were deleted from this film. But Pushpa also had similar story but it was the dialogues which was the highlight of the film and people liked Allu Arjuns swag more

Worldwide gross 300 crore plus despite January dull phase, NON-FESTIVAL release and CLASH. SRK once again proved why he is the king of Bollywood. RAEES would have crossed 300 crores if it released solo and on a holiday.

I just watched the movie two nights ago. It was one of the best Bollywood movies I've ever watched. All of the cast did a great job. A sad ending as we all know but hopefully there are plans for Raees 2 cause I'd love to see a Raees 2 movie
