Hmm its very important to realize that we don't inherit naturally how to manage our emotions. These therapists are trained professionals who are here to help anyone who needs support and assistance in learning to build their life back more meaningfully. Thats why its not a burden. Being a therapist myself I can assure you, we are more than happy to be there for anyone that needs assistance in finding them self back, helping and equipping individuals. Therapy is for everyone and there is a wrong assumption out there that if u go to therapy you are not strong or something is wrong with you. Being in my position, I see how much important this field is in our country and how much the misinterpretation and misinformation has led for people to not seek assistance. I really hope things change soon in our country and I hope many more see mental health in more positive light.

@@AMohamedAsif psychiatrist is someone who also has a background in medicine (MBBS). They can prescribe medicines to people is suffering from certain problems due to imbalance of hormones or neurotransmitters etc. They also know what a psychologist knows. Psychologists are people who take bsc, msc and mphil. They help people who are suffering from problems due to malfunctioning in the society or emotional problems or thought processing problems etc. They use various therapies to help these people ☺. Both are great... You can choose whichever u feel is interesting.
