I really think Shah Rukh fell in love with her but being married before they met, he was never able fo pursue her. I think he's a respectful, loving husband to Gauri, but I think he loves Kajol in a way that he doesn't love Gauri. The way he talks about Kajol being the sexist, most beautiful woman alive (inside and out) in this universe, as if his own wife doesn't exist! really makes me feel like he's in love with Kajol but could never be with her in the way he may have wanted to. I think because he also respects Kajol's marriage too, he would never try to get in the way of them. It's sad how fate played out because the way he talks about her, especially how possessive he gets over her (saying "I can only love Kajol" or "I can only call her señorita," "when she asked me to come to the wedding my automatic response was 'no'" etc.) makes me think he would have pursued her romantically if not for the fact that he was already married to Gauri.

when I was a kid I thought they were a real couple and when I discovered they were not I cried so much!

Sadly they met each other at the wrong timing where SRK was already married at that time...if they were both single during their first encounter, I'm 200% sure they will end up getting married...

I've always maintained that they are in love and it's been the greatest secret of Bollywood to date.

Some actors and actresses like Srk and kajol never get old, so many years after ddlj and they both still look young and stunning.

Maybe in another multiverse they are together in real life. Or maybe in another lifetime they will be. But for this lifetime I am glad they have their own families and that there's no insecurity whatsoever. That this onscreen jodi get along like a house on fire offscreen as well. One of the best friendships to have ever come out of the Indian film industry. Having said this, someone please come up with a great script and cast SRK and Kajol together.

I only watch Bollywood cause of this two. Right now I've seen all of their movie. Can we get more of them please. Love from the U S.

That Moment when you see a chemistry between two people that love each other so much, you start to wonder why they are not married. Then you realize that maybe they met at the wrong time in their life. If only Srk didn't marry at such a young age, I feel like these two would had gotten together soon. but we will never know what the future holds for them.

I dont really watch Hindi movies but when these 2 beautiful stars are in I am glued to the screen. Love their last movie Dilwale. Heard it didnt do so well in India but it had huge overseas collection. It did very well in Malaysia. It break Star Wars record in the Gulf. It was at 4th place boxoffice in the US. 2nd place in Malaysia and New Zealand. Indians tried to downgrade it by calling it a flop. If it was well received in overseas market at international level obviously it can't be called a flop. Probably Indians just have a different taste from others.
