Hard to stop a 6’6 guard with an elite bag. Shai has been incredibly fun to watch.

He's less flashy and outspoken, but he's right there with Curry and Doncic for top guard in the league IMO. Dude's been crazy consistent the past year and a half.

He's not getting enough love as an MVP candidate. He's having a better season than Embiid and Joker imo.

I was fortunate enough to watch Jordan play all throughout his career and also Kobe and some of the turnaround and pull up jumpers that SGA is starting to develop look very similar. He's figured out how to consistently create the same kind of space that those two all time great midrange players were able to and at this point he's pretty much unguardable. When you add in what Holmgren has brought to the team and the incredibly quick development of Jalen Williams into a borderline all star this OKC team is fully legit.

SGA with Jdub are starting to look a bit like Jordan and Pippen. SGA, has the ability to get a clean shot on any player, can finish difficult shots at the rim against anyone and prefers a high percentage 2 over throwing up 3s, but can still hit the 3. He even has intensity on d which often overlooked in a superstar scorer

Damn, I expected OKC to be good this season. But I didn't expect the to be this good.

Pisses me off…here in Toronto we get about 3 nba games a night to pick from, sadly pretty much never Okc, tonight though they did show this game and boy was it great. Lots of you won’t know this but 3 Canadian’s were starters tonight in this game, makes us really proud up here.

There’s so much to appreciate in SGA’s game, he knows he’s good, he knows he can shoot, he can pass, steal, rebound, he can play on and off. Want a quick play? There he is. Want a flashy play? There he is. Draining time? He’s your guy. There’s so much to love in how he plays. And the cherry on top? When the camera is off him, silence. No awful, weird or whack headlines, nothing about bad character, he just plays the game, and keeps to himself. It feels like every step he takes is one towards improving his game.

All I have to say is put Shai at 2nd on the MVP ballet after Embiid Jokic shouldn’t be over him

I grew up watching Jordan and this guy reminds me of him big time. The speed, quickness, hops and jump shot. Very reminiscent.

I wonder how the Thunder are gonna handle in the playoffs. It gets more physical and both Shai and Chet don't have the muscle if teams really play them extra physical. I could see them beating the Suns, Warriors, Kings, Rockets but every other West team has enough size to really dig into OKCs younger players.

Antman is a generational player. But Shai has a different bag. Just a crazy amount of skill and body control (upper body strength). Nobody weak is going into paint like that, getting layups.

He’s unlike any player in this generation. He plays with the efficiency of Jokic and Giannis and his defense is absolutely elite at his position. For as much praise as Luka gets, SGA has caught up to him. And while the Mavs will live in the 6-8 seed, the Thunder are a true dynasty in the making. Shai might win both MVP and a ring before Luka does. And he definitely won’t succumb to the same lazy mistakes (getting fat, not hustling on D, etc) that Luka does.

His midrange is too good. This is what sets great offensive players apart from the abundance of guys that shoot 3s and layups/dunks. He's a very complete offensive player.

People don’t know he’s 6’6 because he’s just beating people off the dribble so effortlessly. 6’11 wingspan too so against the hawks on the 3rd he just causally grabs 13 boards.
