u can obviously tell by body signs that theo is definitely into shai CONSTANT touching (too obvious not to notice), sitting closer to her so that his arm would touch hers, mirroring her movements (he does this a lot wIth her), the looks he gives....this are all MAJOR signs that he likes her, its so obvious and ive seen almost every single interview they made together and he does this EVERY time idk if he's STILL engaged but if he is he should think it through if he actually feels for shai
Shailene is one of the most beautiful human being ever! She is so natural, real, kind, bringing tips on how others can get a better day, sharing healthy tips, rocking out whatever she wears. She literally deserve this life because she brings so much love out of herself, she is really an inspiring person! When i see all these interviews she takes part in i get so inspired myself to just live life, travel around the world, living freely in nature. She is a great role model. Shailene is nature's goddess

Okay, I consider myself fairly good at reading people, and I enjoy reading people, so here is my unsolicited analysis...Not a genius or anything, but fairly good especially from the outside perspective (not so much inside). I'm not a fangirl, I'm not into trying to couple up all these different celebrities... And I see soooo many signals that Theo likes Shailene, the fist bump after getting a tiny bit jealous after hearing the different male actors names. The gradually getting closer and closer to Shailene as the interview went on and finding all these different ways to touch her without actually getting too intimate. Sneaking in a look at Shailene for 1/2 a second before looking down really quick and scratching his head to behave as if he's not interested, he does that a lot in these interviews I've been watching and I'm sure Shailene's caught on to it, that's like the telltale sign that a guy likes you but is trying to play it cool (or in his case, not to show it)!! Hah. Not even going to mention looking at her for uncomfortably long after she said something he admired. Figure it out dude!! :) I know he's getting married, you need to make up your mind Theo and either focus on the wife or ditch her and get with Shailene. I'm sure he's been advised this already. He seems very confused and hard on himself :) Or maybe I live under a shell and men are just men and Shailene is very attractive? I can tell they are clearly very close and are very comfortable with each other, plus they've probably been sitting in those two chairs spilling their guts out all day and that can make one feel whackadoodle, but there was a little too much touchy-touchy and sneaky-sneaky. My two cents, I love these two actors dearly and I love these movies. Thought I'd share my thoughts!! :)

she also has signs that she likes him. the thing about shailene. is that she's so comfortable with herself...and she's the same in the way of being, that people don't notice how subtle she is. But she too has something for Theo. she's not the type of girl that will allow it to be just a one way street...if i make sense. She's said what she likes about Theo. Its a mutual attraction on so many levels, she's just more subtle about it then Theo. Its cute because(without fangirling like you've noted) they are a fit on a lot of levels. she's just not a physical beauty. she's the whole package adding her down to earth quality and he the same adding his awkwardness.
ps. He is not getting married... that's just something his girlfriend's manager threw out there. it was a mistake from what's i've read on either IG or Twitter. Nothing against his girlfriend either. I think she's sweet. But, there is more potential of everything between these two. my opinion of course.
I know we all want "Sheo" to be a thing, including myself. However, they have approximately three years left working together as love interests in a movie, so of course you have to develop off-screen chemistry to make the on-screen chemistry so believable.
Haley McConville Nope. They already had the off screen chemistry before they even started filming. Shailene even mentioned in one interview that when he walked in that he had that” vibe’. And what man who has a wife or girlfriend pull down another woman’s pants during filming
Why, they don`t date in real life............The girl is beautiful and cute........The guy is a hotty.....And I guess, they both are singles...........They suit each other very well.....I hope, some day I will hear that they`re already married and expecting a baby.........:)

4:10 woah this question is awesome. okay like the connection between them in divergent was so refreshing real.. like a genuine slow burn and not too much like not too intense that it overshadows the plot in anyway. filming in sequence is so amazing i rly love that and the perfect amount of intensity between the two. they worked really hard together

It's CLEARLY obvious that Theo likes Shai.....Ive watched alot of their interviews together, he always has his arm around her chair, tries to sit as close as possible next to her and in this interview when the interviewer was asking about the chemistry on/off screen, Theo looks down and runs his finger thru his hair to try to act cool. We see u Theo...jus admit that you LIKE HER already!

Yup, its 2020 well almost ending and I just happened to bump into this interview . I saw Theo in Sanditon & I thought he's smoking hot & googled him. Theo & Shai should make another movie , any writer or producer out there ? Put it on Netflix. Maybe a love story or some sort .?
