@@ze2004 is not as hard as ypu think, if you know the concepts, you have it, at my family there are 7 pilots, and i am going to start studing in 4 years, i think it is the best job
Maybe because what they're doing is not particularly difficult? Just flying on the autopilot and following a magenta line. It's not the most difficult job in the world.
@@douglasnisbet1189 Oh so you think a pilot's skill and training shows is there for the days when nothing goes wrong... Do you realize the amount of daily avoided events that don't become accidents and never make the news only because the aviation professionals handled the situation? Flying in todays busy skies is not an easy thing to do. You can be thankful that you're oblivious of this. It means that everyone working in aviation is doing a job so good that it is completely transparent to you.
If you realy want equality you shouldn’t Praise women for doing the same thing men have been doing for years and treating her like it’s harder for her just cuz she’s a woman.
THANK YOU for sharing your experience as pilots. This helps many girls and women who dream of being aviation pilots. Millions of blessings for your channel.
yeah every girl needs supportive parents for them to achieve their dream bc without supportive parents those girls would be bashed by society and judging eyes... :(
Think about their children who wish their mother was around, instead of off paying the bills while they are stuck at some daycare with strangers. Think about their future when they’re old and their kids have no time for them, because mom taught them work was more important than family. Or worse yet, they were duped into being “liberated” and they have no children and grow old with no one to care for or about them.
Your parents must be so proud. Awesome. I’ll make sure my daughter sees your video to show her so many of life’s possibilities. We need more ladies doing this. Great job to you both. Fly safe
@@Blindmind122 It does seem that airlines in the United Arab Emirates have hundreds of women flying jet planes. I was thinking they are probably very well educated.
I've been on the flight deck of a few planes during flight (pre-9/11), it was fantastic, but it was only recently when I directed an advert for a very well known airline that I sat in the captain's seat of a 787 (while on the ground, obviously) and the responsibilities on the shoulders of pilots really hit me. Holding on to the yolk and looking out the window, thinking about the couple of hundred lives that sit behind them. My brother is a captain - I immediately texted him my absolute admiration.
So proud of these women who are great professionals and living up to their potential as great pilots!!!! I am in admiration of what pilots and copilots have to know and how complex it is on take off and landing I would be a passenger any day on a flight with these women piloting 😀🙏
Fabulous. What a thrill it must be to see that plane, and even more to see it from the inside of the cockpit, and then even more to fly it. And last but not least, kudos and congratulations to the two lady pilots doing all that. Amazing.
Don’t know it is, but there’s just something fascinating to me about watching pilots, especially during takeoff. So professional, so calm, so much responsibility! The messages back and forth with controllers…full of important information, but sounding like no known language. (They never say “what did you say?”!) Really awesome how they do this job.
On top of that did you hear about the two pilots that landed this same type of airplane which is the largest passenger plane in the world btw without the either Engine and power off due to EMPTY FUEL. Not only the pilots but we should also be INCREDIBLY thankful to the rest of the air hostess’s as literally 98% of their training is passenger safety and they even get trained to do tasks like safely help give birth on board.
Most women scare to drive on a highway just because of the size of trucks on the road so flying big planes like that not only train but must have a big heart as well
The feeling that one experiences when they say 'Rotate' is hard to put into words. God I am so envois of these pilots and have my utter most respect for what they do...Amen.
what's more amazing than navigating these huge machines is that these two amazing women pilots make me feel that I can also do it. They make flying seem so simple .you don't need to be a pilot to know that it's such a skilled profession inundated with training and education at the highest level......congratulation ladies .....my respects.......
A380 is an astonishing machine, I always love to watch the preflight checks. The cockpit is fantastic and is so high from ground! It's a shame that they stopped producing this plane. Congrats to the pilots, you must really be a great professionist to step in that cockpit!
The Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) skill level is said to be the "Ph.D" of commercial aviation achievement... IOW, these two are at the top of The Game. *
The two female pilots are professionals, they know their work perfectly, look calm and that is the point, because there is no place for panic and if panic that messes things up. Great work.
@James Frankohahahaha! And she is a woman-even more dangerous-hahahahaha! I don't think she is dangerous, she would be if she was trained in Gladio secret CIA programme, which were in Italy, Turkey, Lebanon, Finland, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan etc. from the 1960's to 1980's and even after that. If she was part of this she wouldn't have been showed at all.
@James Franko read more about it. CIA calls it conspiracy stuff, but they call it conspiracy in the negative sense of the word. They hide a lot of secrets-from the assassination of John Kennedy to Pope John Paul II attempts of assassination, which both are CIA things there, so messed up there, and you will see how deep shits are there behind the curtains of the Vatican, which are secretly illuminati and Satanists and not real Christians, and the things the Rockerfeller, the Rothschilds, the Bush family did and are still doing. You have no idea how deep shit are these.
John Smith there are some places where you don’t have to be rich..I live in Dubai with a middle class family and the Airline EMIRATES has a flight college which is actually free (to locals only though)
John Smith Yeah about the first thing yes Emirates is a intl airlines the school I told you about has people from all around the world but it is free for locals About the second thing yes most locals in Dubai are pretty well off but that does not mean that ALL of them are I have a cousin that left their private school because his parents couldn’t afford it...so yes most locals are well of but there are some that aren’t as rich And about the third thing it is an airline flight school not a flight school sorry if I wrote it wrong or something 😅 I am not currently studying at the aviation college (I am planning to visit it as they usually open their doors up to show to students their aviation college it is called "Open days")so I don’t know most of the things you can google it though!
@John Smith hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh (rich ) ?? hhhhhhh wtf u talking about she fly it by it self and all what she did in video and all info she said that mean she knows what she's doing and that have to do nothing about rich or not and how u know its rich ?????? or bcs she is muslim girl u try to find something to criticize him hahahah hater never win
@John Smith She does not have to be from a rich and privileged family to be a First Officer with Etihad. Etihad have a Cadet Pilot Program that is open to all UAE nationals who meet the criteria. Accommodation, living allowance and flight instruction are provided and after two years they graduate as Second Officers with Etihad. Emirates also have a similar program for UAE nationals only. Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines also have Cadet Pilot Programs for their citizens, although Singapore Airlines also open their program to Malaysian citizens too. Maybe the onus should be on some western countries to create similar programs to give opportunities like that to their own citizens.
A medical doctor goes through extensive training and that training is a tad bit different from that of a pilot. Most airlines have a lot of computer controlled sequences where the pilots essentially just monitor the computer. I really don't see how a pilot is equal to a doctor. This is coming from a future pilot
I am happy that this world is finally moving forward , also pleased for this Lady Pilot she is living my dream and I hope she has the best career ahead until she retires.
The dislikes are those who cannot stand bright, educated articulate women, no matter what they choose for employment. If they were my family, I'd be very very proud of them.
Hat's off to their years of hard work..and training..that have got them both to this level of professional excellence.. simply superb..!! Thanks so much for sharing this clip with us...!!!
Achille Bouillant that’s so cool! I adore nurses! I was in a hospital when I was 18-19 for six months, five months of that strapped to a bed! I broke my Phemur! Sad that women still are not encouraged very much to pursue their dreams, but it is changing! I’m fully supportive!
@@WTF-cw5cv until very recently women in Western countries were pretty much forced to was her legs and armpits or they were treated considered dirty. I rather wear a beautiful hijab than suffer the was pain.
@@WTF-cw5cv Who cares about what she chooses to wear on her head? Her scarf and her technical abilities to fly the aircraft are completely separate issues, and she seems to know exactly what she's doing in flying the aircraft. Only someone with limited intelligence would think they are connected, there's no reason at all to think they have any relevance - own up @WTF what do you think is the real problem? Muslim women flying planes? Is that what you find so troublesome? A good pilot is simply a good pilot, and while she might have met some cultural difficulties becoming a pilot, it has nothing to do with how good a pilot she actually is, in fact getting to this level of co-piloting shows she's probably better than the average, and an F/O I would have no problem with flying me around the world (as Qatar does - they are a huge, respectable airline). Go Shaima!
@Michelle Michelle Subhanallah, this guy hates so much he couldn't even be bothered to spell what he is spewing correctly. It is "Allah" not "all-ah" and seriously how do you praise women and yet insult them? I mean calling them a Muhammadan is obviously wrong on many terms but you try to paint yourself as the good guy supporting women for pursuing their dreams but insults. Also, can I just mention really quick that Islam actually came to liberate women and give them the right to vote, own property and work? you realize at the time of the prophet SAW there was no such thing as aviation so no one demanded ladies to sit and not fly, lol. [2:9] They desire to deceive Allah and those who believe, and they deceive only themselves and they do not perceive.
There is no singel line in the Koran saying woman shall stay in kitchen xD. Why do so many people think this was the comment of allah?? This tradition is practiced all over the world apart from religion...
Always a joy to watch and to listen to them as they work. Beautiful plane, great Airline, great pilots, and awesome takeoff that sounds amazing. I always love the view outside these windows from Abu Dhabi. Awesome video, I love it.
Respect! Determination, perseverance, consistency, support from friends and family, and many other things for sure these ladies had and have to be this successful.
Some VERY bright; mentally able people do this very involved and demanding job...very impressive watching & listening to them do their thing in getting a massive flying machine packed with passengers and their stuff off the ground and over thousands of miles to their distant destinations. I'd love to have their capabilities and do this dream job...
Now you will understand why Arab men wanted them completely veiled while in public. A vast majority of the female populace are drop dead gorgeous in the Arab world. They are also trained to be obedient and family oriented from a very young age. Unfortunately no one has (including non Arab Muslim men) easy access to them.
we understand life better than your society do, we know what is right and what is wrong, its just happened to get punch of coward rulers, who only care about money, then ruined our countries .
Just the fact that you are declaring”we know what is right and what is wrong” show me a close mind, arrogance and limited knowledge! You are afraid that if you give woman’s freedom,or equality they will run away in masses from that medieval mentality. Good night now
Oh gosh... lighten up everyone. This comment was meant to be a meme joke comment, it was never to put down women and go figure how this joke works. Oh my goodness...
I admire them as well, I would love to learn from them as I love planes and flying I do flight simulators so boy we can have a very long conversation about planes.
@@tranceyy Her landing was not horrible at ALL! It's nearly impossible to land any smoother than that on such an overcast day! Cloudy, rainy, and gloomy weather is not as calm as it appears from the ground! The low hanging, and slow moving clouds beneath stay low while warmer, faster moving air and clouds rise to the top, making up a very unstable and unpredictable air mass that spans for miles. The turbulence becomes greater as the aircraft moves through the fog and pushes down on the plane as it approaches the runway. That's what caused the VERY SUBTLE bump as she landed SO BEAUTIFULLY! I think I speak for most of us here when I say WE'D LOVE TO SEE YOU LAND THAT BEAST OF A MEGA PLANE, IN THESE CONDITIONS, AND DO A BETTER JOB THAN HER! You wouldn't survive a second being outsmarted by a woman!
Really I’m very excited to see this video as a Muslim woman becomes captain of the best of airline in world... You are the best woman in Islamic world Masha allah..... Allah bless you all for safe journey.....
Wow what a great video of what it really looks like in a major airline cockpit! And what a beautiful young lady she is! They are both obviously very well-trained and take their important job seriously. VERY well done!
Is it mandatory to like it? Maybe they expected something else? Like walkaround? Or closeups of instruments during departure instead of general cockpit view? I personally do not like that angle from camera on side window (like in 6:50 point). All in all - likes or dislikes may be for pilots but also for video creators. And besides - for what I know it is not THAT tough for females with Qatari or UAE citizenship to become pilots. Sounds surprising but it's whole different story than Saudia, Egypt or even Morocco. And "stone ages"? You mean like 1990's or even 2000's in the West.
Absolutely fantastic video, I was gripped for the full 10 minutes. Facinating to see what they do up there. Brilliant, keep up the good work ladies, your job must be so rewarding!
Yep she's clever, good looking but obviously gullible as fuck .If that head wear is because of her so called fake god. What a shame if so. Religion is cancer time to grow up humanity.
@@moitoi4064 Yes, on the navigation screen showing the artificial horizon has the speed ruler where it has the indications of V1, VR and V2. However, in the process of takeoff, the pilot who is not in control of the aircraft tells the other pilot the speeds the aircraft reaches.
Amazing video, very progressive Itahad. I designed air data system for the Airbus, so used to travel routinely in the cockpit once plane was on autopilot, pre 9/11. Even with the FFC (Forward Facing Cockpit) there is a lot work and care needed.
@@css_hermbug2487 these girls get special privilege because whoever is in power wants her poontang. As a dude, I have 10x more hurdles before I can secure this type of position.
Total respect to Shaima and all pilots. Amazing skills. I fly Etihad from London to Abu Dhabi quite often and consider them a very premium airline. What a pity that some people's comments here are so ignorant.
