I love my Roofnest Condor Overland. As far as the ladder goes, keep your spare rungs at the top and use the middle *clicks* to dial in the height exactly where you need it. I've also found that giving the platform a little tug downwards prior to setting the ladder height/angle helps flatten out the sleeping platform as well. Loving the videos, keep em coming!
Yay that tent is awesome. You are going to love it. I just realized our jeep setups are pretty close. I don’t have the same tent but I have a white four door jeep with a big bumper and a lift. They looks very similar. You might like to add a batwing to your setup. I love mine especially when it’s rainy. Great channel. Enjoying your videos.
I actually just had the tent on on a test trail last night and we had a good amount of rain, it was a really good sleep!!. I will be looking into adding a batwing awning shortly!! Hopefully before next winter! Glad your enjoying the channel!! I’ll see you on the trip it’s gonna be epic 🤘🏻
I wouldn't mind having a rooftop tent and rack to hold extra gas and offroad tools but, I like being able to go too the car wash and have a machine wash my jeep gladiator. I go back and forth on what to do. Plus, I like being able to haul my sled and dirt bikes in the bed of my gladiator. A rack system would get in the way.
Yea that is one thing I had in the back of my mind when I finished mounting the rack and tent. Only hand washing after trips moving forward. It’s a massive downside to going this route. But for my purposes I will settle with it. You can always get a canvas wall tent for extra comfort and throw it in the bed along with your sled 🤘🏻
@@LetsGetLost. oh I see good to know. So the same applies to the platform? That’s what I have. Didn’t realize it was controversial. But went with it for the same reasons as you: higher weight rating while still offering a cleaner look
@@theofficialcarter15 yea the pioneer platform still will only have 6 small bolts holding it in place. Periodically check them and be aware if the weight you have up there and you should be good 🤘🏻
