Shakespears Sister - I Don't Care | REACTION | THEY ARE SO GOOD! 

"Hello, Turn Your Radio On" is a must. ALSO: Eric Clapton - "Lay Down Sally" which features Marcella (high voiced) who also co-wrote the song.

Honestly every song on "Hormonally Yours" was great. I wore that album out when it released. My personal favorite after "Stay" was "The Trouble with Andre," which has such a dark, spooky vibe to it.

Great reaction! Love this song, and the Hormonally Yours album. This is actually a perfect counterpart to the Stay song/video. A bit more Siobhan centric here. For those who followed her Bananarama journey, Shakespears Sister sure seemed like a departure, although you could kind of tell that Siobhan wanted the 'nana repertoire to be more edgy

On your own check out their performance of this song on Letterman back in the day, it is a fun watch.

Ironically, it was their biggest hit - "Stay" - that caused Shakespear's Sister to go on hiatus and eventually led to the public dismissal of Marcella Detroit by Siobhan Fahey. The two women would not see or speak to each other for 25 years, finally reconnecting in 2018. In 2019, Shakespear's Sister released an EP, titled "Ride Again." One of the songs on the EP, "When She Finds You," is a must-listen (and the video is a must-see), as it captures the spirit of reconciliation between the two women (the message at the end of the video is especially poignant). So glad you found this amazing duo! :)

Love them!! Try "Goodbye Cruel World" next.. but get the official original video not the HD one.. That one cuts some off. The video was again directed by the great Sophie Muller, based on the movie Sunset Blvd. Awesomely catchy song, as well. Hello (Turn Your Radio On) is a great one from the same album too. Slower, but was chosen as the album closer of a great album for a reason. One of my favorites from them.

You mentioned Annie Lennox and it’s not coincidence, because this video was directed by Sophie Muller, the same director that made entire Annie Lennox’s video album DIVA. Also video for “Stay” was directed by Sophie Muller too. Sophie Muller well known to have multiple muses throughout her carreer, for example she directed 90% of videos for No Doubt/Gwen Stefani and Sophie Ellis-Bextor I would recommended you to try next time “Hello (Turn Your Radio On)”, really meaningful song by this unique duo

This is a good "ditty", which means short song. This is my first time hearing it. Thanks for the introduction! Shakespears Sister have two songs that I know. Both are pretty good. One is "Stay" and the other one is "Turn Your Radio On." Both with wild videos. o

AND: malicious tongues claim that Siobhan Fahey was the reason for the break-up of Eurythmics. This brings us full circle to Annie Lennox.
