Very nice Bruce, one on the coolest guitar lines ever...I'm going to give it some practice. It was making me shake all over when I was beginning my freshman year of high school 1960...wow! Oh yeah, my parents were shakin' even more from the sounds of such dangerous music...Rock&Roll !
man, you gotta have some special prize or something for this tutorial, really! it's so smart and so short the same time, so well-done... and what a sound! many thanks for this incredible work by you!!!
Bruce, I admire Johnny Kidds creativity and foresight for writing such a cool song, but old-school-wise, I gotta go with The Guess Who's version. Kicks ass!!
Hey Bruce! I really enjoy your music choices and I’ve been learning a lot of theory also. I don’t mind saying that Shakin all Over is a favorite and really fun to play. Thanx for all the cool songs and education.
Thank you for sharing. I’ve been watching your videos for years, finally made an act so I can subscribe. I’ve been looking for a couple Grand Funk tunes, nowhere to be found. No covers, no lessons. If you like them please help. They are Country Road and I don’t have to sing the blues anymore.
I was very interested in seeing the solo in the middle of the song......but where is it.The player on the record is the late, great Joe Moretti. He plays a great guitar solo which i was looking to learn!
Just reading the autobiography of Vic Flick. It is very illuminating and 1 or 2 of the musical " shakers and movers " in the business get rather " exposed ".Mick Green joined the pirates after the success of " shaking '" and you can hear the differing styles of lead playing. To hear Mick Green playing superbly Google " The Prates live at Dingwalls 1977 " MIck Green is in another dimension of Rock 'n Roll playing .Amazing.!!!
