This performance was filmed during Shaky’s 1990 U.K. tour. I had seen him at the Sunderland Empire theatre on the Friday night and this was broadcast live on the Sunday - Shaky played Carlisle Sands centre that very night. Happy memories!
Evet on altı yaşında dinlemiştim benini sankide gökyüzüne çıkardı ses ve o hareketler beni çok etkiledi yıllarca osesi unutmadım elli yaşındayım zevkle dinliyorum
My option been a fan since I was 9 and now 51 still a fan and still go to see him live but just been looking at other 80s groups who really were only put on the main programme tv And feel this was a bad pr move I know he done pebble mill and the stuff in Europe but he wasn't taken seriously as an artist as recent years have shown with record companies letting him down and being Diss at Glastonbury although he drew the biggest crowd for an opening act his new album was great but unfair no proper pr done properly
Not strictly true, because He was actually also on shows like Pebble Mill with My Cutie Cutie. I also remember the promo video been shown a few times as well. He actually appeared more on european TV with this single, than he did in the UK, but I don't really think that had anything to do with the decline in those later record sales. I think people just moved on, the fans that were buying This Ole House & Green Door had grown up a bit. Shaky has mentioned in a few interviews that they should have taken a bit of time out to work on his next phase, instead of putting out the same stuff!
I know he did other shows like summertime special ,cannon and ball Des o connor, hold tight I suppose back yhen the kids tv was classex as prime time tv just feel he was let down in the late 80s I And I think he actually considered releasing this In 1982 I read this somewhere
Hah! They aren't playing anything.. or at least the piano player isn't. The solo is from another recording and his fingers are not moving as if he played that solo. I can tell because I'm a piano player myself.
What are you talking about?, the solo is from another recording??. This is from a UK TV show, it’s Mimed, but these guys are some of the very best British session musicians who are actually playing on the record. The guy on piano in the video is Gavin Povey , one of the best British boogie Woogie piano players in the business. I saw him live earlier this year supporting Shaky and he was fantastic!,
