i am a doctor and so have physical contacts with my patients. you should also remind what the ulema is talking about that. for me it is not possible to have no contact with woman (gynecologist, dentist, and all other health care professions) this should be a private issue. while shaking hands, the end of the world won´t come it is a sign of peace in western countries.

The real reason this date was selected is because it coincided with Saturnia and it was politically expedient for the Romans to do so. Some of these "sheiks" need to chill. Focus on the beauty of Islam and to unite the Muslims rather critisising every other group and finding excuses to declare things haram. I am not arguing its ok to shake women's hands neither am I critisizing this guy in particlar but in general many speakers need to lighten up a bit. This kind of attitude will push the non-Muslims further away from Islam.
