I don't speak Spanish, so I may be completely wrong, but I saw another reactor watching this song and he said there was a play on lyrics: When she says "sorry if it splashes you," one of the words in Spanish is Pique (his name). And then when she says "She has the name of a good person, clearly it's not how it sounds," clearly is/sounds like "Clara," which, is the name of the Affair Partner. Again, I don't speak Spanish just what I heard!
Honestly I don't know much about bzrp but he seems to bring out the best of an artist. I cant speak spanish but that hasn't even been a hurdle when I've found such stellar artistry in residente's bzrp session for example. Speaking of residente, not only is his bzrp insane...he has a track called "Rene" where he poured his heart out entirely and it was absolutely beautiful. I mean if shakira was dissing me like this that would mean shes clearly hurt losing me. Just like she is here. Her lyrics are double edged she may be getting her anger out but she's also showing just how much losing him affected her. Its sad really.
You know normal people get affected when a family they put their career aside for 10 yrs crumble cause the man cheated. Losing him doesn't affect (it's not even a loss tbh), losing the family she built affected her especially cause her kids lost their stability.
It’s the way he did it what hurt the most.. so disrespectful. He brought his 22 yr old sidepiece into the family home (that was bought with her money) when Shakira and the kids were overseas. The sidepiece wore her clothes, ate her strawberry jam (that’s how she found out), maybe also slept on their bed. Very disrespectful. I’m sure all women would be hurt and mad if their partner did that.
