The song represents immigrants on the train which they call "the beast" bc many have died trying for the American dream. The ex in laws are cheap and crappy bosses and eating off the heads of their workers, then the lady in the end is the nanny Pique ( shakira ex) fired w/out pay bc she alerted Shakira to Pique's affair.
