I remember once going to a party that was next to a Shakira concert, I didn’t go to the concert because I wasn’t that much into Shakira but while outside hanging out I started hearing a familiar sound, I was like “is that nothing else matters? For real?” I was quite pleasantly surprised that Shakira played that song on her shows!

Don't know why some people are tripping. I'm a HARDCORE heavy metal fan, not just Metallica. But I can appreciate and enjoy a latin pop singer singing their song, and not be offended at all. If anything, she's introducing more people to their music, which I love.

To all that are saying this cover is horrible and she ruined the song because it sounds too different from the original you people are ignorant a cover isnt about sounding the same as the original song its about making it ur own style and thats exactly what Shakira did something that most artists cant do and they just try to sound the same as the original which is just plain boring. This shows how much of a talented and unique artist shakira is and I loved this cover!!

I grew up on Metallica! I love Metallica! I'm rocker, I mostly listening to metal music. But! I've never heard a cover of Nothing Else Matters like this. Everyone in the world, even if they're rockers, knows that Shakira has an amazing voice. The fact that she chosen this song to cover and perform on a concert is even makes the whole thing better! I love this!!! Really really love this! Sounds amazing, played amazing! Awesome!!!!

I grew up listening to Metallica. I always liked this song a lot. You know how you listen to your favorite song so many times you just eventually get burned out on it? Well, this cover reinvigorated my love for this song. I don't think it's a matter of who performed it better. I think they're both works of art and I truly enjoyed this. I clicked on this video just to see how bad the song got butchered but I stand corrected and come away from it with an appreciation for Shakira. Thanks for this.

My point is that there will be a lot of people out there that do not realise this is a Metallica song because nobody has given any acknowledgement to the people that created and initially performed the song, maybe if Shakira had said "Metallica cover" in the title of the video then I wouldn't care as much because if some people do actually like this cover (which was brutally murdered and hung up to dry), then they might have gone to listen to the original song, but there is nobody there to tell them that this is a Metallica song. It's like if I were to upload video gameplay, and I blocked out every time the name of the company that created the video game, only differences being he fact that this is the modern day music industry which looking at the pop aspect, is rubbish, and not a video game

I love this version, as well as the original from Metallica. This song was written by James Hetfield as a love song to his wife. This song is haunting, yet beautiful. Shakira did a great job covering this amazing song in both English and Spanish.
