On 5/6 November 2022 the European Shakuhachi Society (ESS) will host an online shakuhachi workshop. The teachers will be Obama Akihito, Christophe Kazan Gaston, Sagara Akari, Véronique Piron and Cesar Viana. There will be workshops on practice tips, honkyoku and sankyoku. In addition there will be a roundtable discussion and a social get-together.

Hey markus! what are your thoughts on plastic shakuhachi for beginners? i found a 3d printable one i can make at home and i'm thinking of trying it out for fun whilst still focusing on my shinobue.

I could imagine it to be similar to a PVC shakuhachi, but I don’t know really.
