Fundamentals of shakuhachi (尺八) notation. I'm discussing the role of notation in shakuhachi playing and introduce the basic symbols of the Kinko (琴古) notation, more precisely the notation of the Kokusai Shakuhachi Kenshūkan (国際尺八研修館).
