The only notable names on Ryan Garcia's resume are Luke Campbell and Javier Fortuna; neither guy has even won a belt. It's not even close, Gervonta has a way better resume than Garcia.

But when they get older, we see more boxing abilities because experience takes over. People who actually box for a living, know you won't knock everybody especially as the competition increases and you have to settle for a TKO. Some guys are just tough.

No, Ryan lost to Shakur in the amateurs by only 2 points. Ryan's dad was talking about that fight and said Ryan completely outclassed and out-jabbed Shakur in the first round but the judges scored that round a draw. Even though Shakur was a heavy favorite and known among the amateurs at that time, he definitely didn't dominate Ryan in their fight. What's also crazy is that Ryan Garcia gave Devin Haney a standing eight count (equivalent to a knockdown) in the amateurs and he also beat Brandon Lee in the amateurs as well...
