You're the first one I see to actually put washers in there... very nice bro, I will do this myself, appreciated :) I tried putting lockbound on the screw but after like 50km the shake on the handlebars started again, I hope this will fix it.

Hi there, Brilliant video, I was wondering if there was a way I could stop that shake from the handle bar and you've just solved it. Great idea 💡. One question for you, the long barstem my handle bars are attached to seem to move forward and back when I press my front brake, is there way to make that more secure as well? As it feels very weird when front break is pressed . Any suggestions have would be appreciated, better still, if you could make a video of it that would be even better. Thank you in advance

I just found a way to do it, after you adjust the screw inside the handlebar, it wont just slide across as easy as before, you now have to lift the handle bar upwards slightly and then pull the cog to the side at the same time then it will allow you to fold handle bars down. I would advise people not to loosen the screw to much as you might not leave any room to slide the handle bar to the side to fold down.

I done the same . I loosened the screw until the sheeves wouldn't slide across AND then I slowly tightened the screw until the sheeves just about slid onto the bars and it was super tight no wobble .

most of the scooter parts today is more on generic parts like bicycle parts.. the only difference is the logo they put. so if it fits, it fits haha

I haven't try to fix it yet... But that creaky sounds just needs some lubricating :) For me, If it doesn't affect your ride performance it's not a big deal... but if it's affecting your ride or the alignment of the wheel and handlebar you need to fixed it... It's almost the same in bike :)

if its too tight, use wd40 and force that folding mechanism slowly, twist it while you move it. It might just got stuck.

Try reduce the thickness a little and find the sweet spot. :) You can twist and pull

@@HatePhotography Hi, No, they are stuck, it seems lile once you loosen the screw inside and then close it, the screw then goes behind the handlebar and cant be pulled back to fold down. Looks like I have to fold it now with handle bars still out. Shame we wasnt warned about this in your video before hand . 🤨

@@michaeljohnson5321 mate as long as you haven't used the washers, it will come loose again after a ride or two which by then you can fold the handlebar and adjust accordingly so next time do tiny turns and check after each adjustment.

@@HatePhotography Astig nga bro eh. Simple pero very handy yung solution mo. Gumawa na ko maraming plastic washers. haha. Sa twisting handle bar may nakita ako na isagad daw twist forward. try ko pa lang tomorrow. haha Salamat lods!

yung sakin 22years na din hanggang ngayon ok pa rin yung nilagay ko na washer na yan.. walang alog. Siguro gawan ko ulit ng content yun pang update lang hahah. Salamat sa pagtambay sa channel boss!

@@HatePhotography Oo bro. If you can, include mo na rin yung twisting ng handle bar. I found out na threaded din pala yon. natatanggal din sya doon sa mismong mechanism na may spring. The solution I came up with was to put a Locktite thread locker para di na mag loose.

you can try putting varnish or something like that instead of putting a permanent glue. Hope it works. :)

Try to shake/apply vibration while you're twisting the sleeves and forcing folding position.

Your other option is to losen the handle bar and shake it while moving it.

The handlebar is not shaking since day 1. I just tried shaking method, etc. It didn't work. I use a flat head screw driver to knock the sleeves loose. It is OK now. Thanks to all!

I just loosened my screw until it made the handle bars really tight .

Yep it's a quick fix. but after a couple of bumpy rides the shake will return and you need to loosened it again :)
