so.....i admit im old and out of the mix nowadays. But in the 80s and 90s this hood DID exist....but they were kind of a joke. In the 90s if you went into their hood you would find....crips, bloods, and eses from all kinds of differernt sets....hangin all in shalimar hood. I never actually saw anyone from shalimar and i hung out in their hood dozens of times. It was an area where santa ana gangsters would go kick it.....but shalimar never came outside to defend the turf. So their hood was basically....a free zone where every other hood would just post up and kick it or sell dope. Had some good times down there....but we never thought of it as a real gang neighborhood.....they never did anything but tag...and they must have done their tagging when everyone was asleep cuz nobody ever saw them.
