The fact that Shalini went from reviews to films is just amazing. She is someone who exactly knows her worth. She is really smart and understands the reality. Grounded and also doesn’t really get carried away by fake praises. What I love about her is that she is very opportunistic with right amount of humility. I am so happy for her!

Had no idea about her or the movie. Randomly happened to find it on Aha and downloaded it to watch on a flight a few weeks ago. Boy did I love it! Fantastic writing, and excellent acting too. She thoroughly impressed me as an actor.. and she wrote it as well? Wow. Will be looking forward to her next work.
You had me at 'The Office', I truly believe it is the best show in the whole world. There can never be another Michael Scott. But to your point, Season 1 is not that great tbh - if I were to rank S1-7, 1 would always be the least best. Its just not me saying it but there is widespread consensus among Office fans as well. But as you watch over and over again, you sort fall in love with that as well lol
It's important to note that her lead character and 4th wall breaking scenes seem to be directly copied from Fleabag, originally written by Phoebe Waller-Bridge. While it's great to celebrate female writers, it's also important to acknowledge originality and give credit where it's due.
I remember reading somewhere that Breaking the 4th Wall has been around cinema for a long time, especially in European cinema but House of Cards (on Netflix ) was the first TV show to popularize it then followed the Wave of the rest of the world cinema adopting it.
Looking forward to a full podcast on The Office. The characters are so unique, funny, naive sometimes, many realistic scenarios. Best thing I watched and keep watching
In every sitcom characters try to crack jokes or try to do something funny, but in office most of characters don't try to be funny they just be themselves. That is what makes office special
Btw my favorite Scott moment is after Jan reveals to him that they are closing the scranton branch, And there is confusion among the office employees, cut to MS addressing the camera - All I can do right now is to go there and be their leader...cut to MS addressing employees - It is over, we are screwed! Dunder mufflin scranton is being shot down! This is the worst! :D

In all these years no critic mentions about a Telugu girl.. instead they will bring Tamilian, Kannadiga, Malayali, Punjabi,Sindhi as leads in Telugu movie.. Rather than crying about less representation of Women the so called Telugu Cinema industry should encourage girls who are native to Andhra, Telangana and Rayalaseema not girls who come from other part and push them.. We can clearly understand she is not a Telugu girl when she shifts in English.. and add some Telugu sentences.. Earlier there were Telugu actresses who spoke Telugu with ease now i see this girls who just stand like doll or they are made to romance the actor half their age.. Last but not the least in Anupama episode when Anupama is talking about cultural aspects of Kerala, Both jokers did not know cultural festivals of Uttar Andhra, Coastal Andhra, Telangana and Rayalaseema.. you guys should atleast talk about how the good habits, festives are different.. Instead you were dumbstruck..
