Michael and Charity are seriously underrated and mostly only fellow dancers recognize how talented and great they are too.

I loved Charity and Andres but she is always who I watch. She is fearless. Michael dances with such emotion and his talent is off the charts! This performance showcased them both to perfection.

My interpretation: She is going through a rough time. Maybe she is trying to deal with past trauma or abuse of some kind and has brought that with her into a new relationship. The demons from her past won't allow her to get close to her new lover. She wants to but she can't bring herself to. He sees that she is in pain and is trying to help her but because she is not yet in a position to deal with her demons she keeps pushing him away. This situation is frustrating for both of them because they love each other deeply. But eventually, through trial and error and screaming matches and arguments and suffering they finally figure it out and achieve the closeness they both aspired to.
