We went to Martinez Lake for a couple days to do some prefishing and for a tournament through the AKBA and we had a blast! Caught over 50 fish in two days on topwater, flukes, seniors, chatter baits, and more! Hope you guys enjoy.. thanks a bunch for watching!

That was wicked! Is that lake known for average-size bass or are there some lunkers there?

There’s definitely a lot of big ones! But there’s even more average size bass. It’s the Colorado River so there’s tons of water and backwaters that the bass travel through. But 90 inches in a tournament is normally good for a check so the fact I was 9th place with 90 inches tells you there’s a bunch of 5 plus pounders! I was only able to find one over 20 inches these two days though
