Scott, lol, yeah after diving deep the whole summer, the first trip in 100 feet always feels like really shallow. I probably should have named it Shallower Reef instead! Best, Dan
I grew up hearing story's about Dan from my old spearfishing Crew.. one of the greatest commercial spearfisherman who ever lived my old dive master told me.. amazing videos Dan stay safe Sir 🤙✌️🐟🎣
You probably have 3hrs of bottom time at that depth by now! LMFAO! U R Legend!....DM my your email so I can send u some commercial middle ground #'s i wont ever use again!
this is the first time I've seen someone go down with mutiple spears, and also spears that aren't connected to a line. i suppose it's something you can do with that species, or perhaps because you're are being so accurate that you don't have to worry about them taking off?
C15. I agree. The rebuilding of Red Snapper has been a huge success . But, there's so many now that they're having a negative impact on other fish species. You almost feel bad for the solitary Mango etc. Having 100's of AR's on a spot with only a few Gags or Mangos seems to becoming the normal, sad to say.
@@danmacmahon3973 How many red snapper were out there, before Columbus sailed? Centuries later, they used to catch thousands of pounds of big red snapper within easy sight of Pensacola Pass. Try that today.
A89, yeah sound really travels under water. It is amazing how far you can hear boat engines/props from. When you're working the skinnier stuff, you really have to train the boat driver not to be right on top of your bubbles and be "clunking" the boat in and out of gear as this can really spook the fish! Best, Dan
