The tank looks great! I think Pristellas are highly underated. I have had a small group for a couple of years, and they are as tough as old boots. I plan on keeping them with Cardinals when i eventually set up a Blackwater tank.
I agree, their understated beauty is very special. When you keep them in soft water they color up really nice and the combination with cardinals or blue neons (P. simulans) is wonderful.
I always buy younger fish especially plecos so I can watch them grow into adults and they last a lot longer as well. Great video again and love the tank, looking amazing
@@tropicalfishhub Yes I know and thank you for doing so. There are lots of nice channels around, some 'professional' and others more hobby based. Personally, I am not really charmed by taking a tank down every two or three months as some of the 'pro's' do, just to create more content, even if some of those tanks might look really nice. But it's not how I think the hobby should be done. And I'm also a bit tired of the 'don't change your water' videos. But hey, sorry for the rant... 😉 Keep up those great videos.
@@aquaracer65 Thank you:) Certainly agreed on these points! I enjoy having tanks mature and develop over a year or two before making changes. Taking a tank down and starting a new one is also so time consuming, so few actual hobbyists would do that often!
Great update thank you! In your little fish room what is the stand that you have the tanks on? Is it something custom made or have you repurposed something else?
Im going to watch the rest of this in the morning. Amazing I think I have found someone I could talk to that wouldn't find me boring 😅 my favourite fish is the bronze corydoras I called them water piglets 45 years ago 😮 if they breed can I be on the list for some F1 fry 😜
Thank you! Yes, certainly I will keep some fry for you, but my group are still juveniles so I'm guessing they need at least 6 more months before I can try breeding them
@@tropicalfishhub I have been with fish 50 Years so I'm a paitent man . I am breeding comet X shumbumkin for about 30 years now so if you ever get a pond 👍
