Could anyone help me? I went on my usual walking path and saw one Canadian goose sitting on a slanted roof honking loudly all alone. The next day, I saw 2 sitting and honking on a flat school roof in a different area.Then the next day I saw 2 up on the school roof and 2 down below. I’ve never seen geese on a roof before! Any idea?

I'm really new to this as in today a single goose was almost hit by traffic flying directly at my car & open window lifting just enough to miss at the last second & for the 1st time in my life I knew that meant something. Still don't know what. Got a clue you can give me? I love geese & they are god like in their parenting ways. Timewalker.

I keep seeing them fly in a V Shape and sitting an overwhelming amount of them in grass what does it mean

I saw a flock of geese flying in a v formation when I left the house this morning. It had been raining. Not sure of the significance but the "v" is quite pertinent at the moment. What crossed my mind was that they use group consciousness.

Wow, I was so struck by the words "silly goose, building her nest on the most precarious of places!" - from my point of view (and I recognise this is not your view) travelling a country alone in a van is most definitely building your nest in the most precarious of places..... No offence intended..:o)
