Rode this during my trip to Spain last summer. Hands down one of the best if not the best coaster I've ever been on. I'd almost even be willing to go back to Spain just to ride this, it's that freaking good.
we have been back to spain 3 times to ride this! been 5 times in total to PV but twice was before this was built. we went the yr it was launched and loved it and went back twice more.
Cedap point in sandusky ohio is better! This ride reminds me of the millennium force. Some very similarities to it! Best ride I've ever rode was steel vengeance! I've rode a good amount of coasters to. But it's absolutely insane! The Maverick would be a close second and their both in the same park.
The roller coaster beside it, Dragon Khan, was great too. I remember we were going up at the same time as the people on the Dragon Khan and we were waving at each other XD
An absolute beauty of a ride. My girlfriend rushed me into the park just to ride this coaster, and I could not thank her enough! So smooth, fast and perfect in every way!
I've been there! It's so amazing! The whole theme park is huge and just amazing. The hotels are really great too, been to each one. We go every year and I can't wait to go again in may! Shambhala was terrifying though haha 😂
I have been two times this is gonna be my third this year and idk if I should go on shambalah what do u think as I am gonna be 12 then and will it be to scary for me or what since u have been on it
Not gonna lie I was terrified when I first went on it. Pretty sure I was 13, and I was really scared at first but It was amazing as soon as it got going! Go for it or else you'll regret not going on it, that's what my Dad said to me :)

I went to PortAventura last September and I must've went on this about 10 times over the course of 2 days. I managed to get on the front a few times too and the back one time which was awesome! Out of this, Furius Baco and Dragon Khan, this one is my favourite!!!
This POV has me in shock. The raw SPEED of the ride is incredible. I knew this was going to be really fast, but the offride POV's didnt do the speed much justice it looked a lot more tame when u see the offride. This onride POV truly shows how intense this ride it. The second thing is the AIRTIME holy jesus!!!!!! The offride POV didnt make the airtime camel backs look as intense as they are in actuality...I'm just wowed by this...its by far the best B&M creation yet! (even better than leviathan)
It's soooo much better than it looks on this video - Trust me. It feels fantastic! That first drop is totally awesome. And it's one of the smoothest rides I've been on.
Mr.Borrany Taron!? Such an overrated coaster! Got to go with Karnan and Shambhala and if you like your banked turnes add in Exp GForce but nah not Taron

I almost shat myself on the ride up to the first dip, it's so much more scarier and higher than it looks on this video. Hands down the best rollercoaster I've ever been on.
I was looking forward to taking this roller coaster this summer when my family and I decided to go to Portaventura. Once i got into the queue i started freaking out and i got super nervous. I love roller coasters, and I have taken a lot of fast ones but this was way beyond that. The first drops were so intense I felt like i was gonna die, but after that i smiled througout the whole ride because it was so fun. I recommend it a lot!
I have been to this theme park this year and they have added the fastest and the highest rollercoaster in Europe. I went on it and it's the best one of them all.
I've been to this park so many times and watched there coasters grow and grow, can't wait to go back in October to their Halloween themed areas. I love this ride so much, it's so smooth as well.
I really enjoyed this ride, definitely one of my favourites. But I wouldn’t advise it to be your first coaster, because it is quite a scary ride. But it’s so smooth, and soo fun. Definitely recommend it :P
that's the point. The lap bar exists for safety, but is designed so it does not hamper diminish the ride experience. That's why OTS harnesses suck; they make you feel too contrained, thus safe, which defeats the purpose of the rollercoaster.
I'd never been on a roller coaster except on a kids one once, and my friend made me go on this...BEST RIDE EVER. But go at night during the week - it's cheaper, cooler and the lines aren't too bad! Scary but one of the best experiences ever!
What time of year did you go at out of curiosity, and what day? I've just gone, mid October, on a Thursday and Friday. Thursday was very quiet, queued absolute max 10 minutes a couple of times for this and one other ride but everything else was
Holy shi- I can't believe I went on this ride a few years ago. I'm petrified of heights and falling from a great height. But I remember this being my favourite rollercoaster I've ever been on, but it doesn't take me long to forget what riding on a specific coaster feels like, so I would love to go on it again, but it's so tall!
I went on this twice today and it was absolutely amazing, expected it to be a lot scarier than it actually was! 10 out of 10 for thrill factor that's for sure!
nope jajaja ferrari land in the resort of port aventura opens in the 7 of april, in just three weeks and it has the tallest and fastest rollercoaster in europe 112 meters and 180 km/h in the launch.

The smoothness is the best bit! None of the swoops or turns feel forced, it's not rattly, and you never get jerked about. That's one of the main reasons why it's my favourite coaster!
I went on the Shambhala last year when I had a holiday at PortAventura! I was terrified and debating whether I should go on it or not, while I was queueing with my sister and dad, and then as soon as I sat down I was so scared I said to dad "Actually.... Can I get off? :S" and then it started moving! XD It was the most terrifying, but awesome experience of my life and I can't stop boasting about it! XD
Y’all need to come over to the good ol USA and hope on the intimidator 305, millennium force, fury 325, and as of 2020 Orion, all over 300ft hills all go over 90mph, they are the true coasters to test your muster on

Diamondback has the best splashdown of any B&M Hyper because it is the only legit one, not just a bunch of super soakers in the ground but actual scoops picking up water.
Shambhala is a masterpiece, my top bucket-list ride at PortAventura and I was not disappointed. As hypercoasters go, I think I would still rank Superman: The Ride slightly above it, but I do admit Shambhala has better restraints and better presentation--it is a beautiful coaster.
been there last April in a rainy day. Waiting times of10 minutes. Made shambala twice and dragon Khan twice. Then i had to stop. My stomach was in my nose. This one is super fast, absurd. Thank for the vid!
sarah killen yeah we really should have used the single rider. But by the time we realised it was quicker we were about 2 hours into the queue so we decided to stay in the queue. I didnt mind because my friend passed out on the first drop on the ride which made the wait even more worthwhile.
