Volodymyr asks the right questions; but the conscript is afraid to answer fully because he wants to be exchanged back to Russia without any repercussions to him and his family. But Volodymyr’s frustration is well understood.
Another great interview boys! It was good to see a slightly different version of the ruzzian slaves you usually talk to. A fireman/family man ripped from his city by Putin's Madness. He obediently goes when called. Obediently believes what he is told. Obediently serves on the front lines instead of the rear guard as promised by his masters. Until these fools fill the streets, then fill the jails, nothing will change for them.
Half-way through this interview I was willing to say that this is the first Russian couple who is willing to listen and see at least some of the light until the wife said to the POW: Just come home and we'll forget all about this. When he's back, they might whisper to each other about the war, but they probably won't learn from it. They just want to forget it. A never-ending story. Excellent handling of this interview by Volodymyr. It may have been asked in previous interviews and I missed it, but asking the family member "how do you perceive the war" is a wonderfully direct question, better than "do you agree with this war". For them it's less scary.
"Suspicious mosquitos" 😀Great name for a band. This POW was, dare I say it, almost human. Another great interview - you were on form. I hope he does whisper the truth in his wife and daughter's ears one day.
Typical zombie! I did not understand why and where I was going. but there is someone above who knows. There were questions, but answers were not required. There were no officers. There were no tasks. But he cannot delve into the reasons.
I thought you were shedding a tear there for a moment Vova 😀. Next mobilisation soon they say. Will they submit or refuse to go, what do you think? I think they will submit. They are afraid they will lose the war and Ukraine will take the fight to Moscow. They are afraid of you. 🇺🇦💪🇺🇦🇦🇺
Ukraine unlike russia treat their POWs according to Geneva konvention. russian soldier! Be a true patriot of your motherland and learn how to surrender. putin is *NOT* russia.
Sometimes it happens, during the first seconds of the capture of a ruzzist, that an adrenaline rush and, at the same time, the relief of the Ukrainians to have survived the battle, lead to some slaps at a ruzzist "Backpfeifengesicht". But that´s not what the Geneva conventions core is about. It is about not to torture POWs, to give them shelter, regular food supply of the same quality the Ukrainian soldiers get and medical care if needed. Give them work to use their time meaningful. Let them read or watch TV in their leisure [(time?) i´m not sure]. And this standards, as far as i know, are beeing upheld. Which is a big achievement by the Ukrainian side. I´m not so sure if i could handle a ruzzist [or any other fascist coming to my homeland to kill] so polite, seconds or minutes after he tried to kill me before i got the upper hand. So, another reason to admire the Ukrainians. Slava Ukraini! 🟦🟨⬛🟥🟨 Germany stands by your side.
I strongly suspect if the UAF suspect someone they capture of torturing and mutilating civilians, etc… They most likely never make it back from the front lines. Basically if you’ve been an evil f.cker and the Ukrainians have identified you by your call sign, you ain’t gonna be sharing a hot dog with Dima anytime soon.
Zolkin and Dima though you are going through great storms always drive hard and God will always answer your hard work. It is amazing and touching videos and words from day one.We recall the first released Ukrainian defenders the way you handled them and taking photos with them ,you are generous, loving and caring. Did you hear what the mobilized/captured Russian said most of them did not even know how to hold a machine gun and yet they were going to face the motivated and well trained officers. What a hell were you.If we were them the moment we step on the foreign soil we could start surrendering process immediately. We could raise up our hands and White flags meant for peace. Lol they were taken and dumped in the battlefield without coordination as well as communication, no phones no nothing wow Scarry. The so called foremen left them,by the way is there foremen in army, surely these people were really mobilized. Glory to Ukraine.
What a rollercoaster of an interview! Between the chap's demoralising experiences of being moved around with no information on what they were supposed to be doing, lack of proper equipment to exist as a fighting unit in the field and the profiteering greed of whoever set up the satellite phone for 400 roubles a call, one has to wonder how Russia can ever expect a victory with these unmotivated conscripts. The phone call to his wife and daughter was a sad and poignant moment and she is extremely lucky that her husband is in one piece and will hopefully be exchanged one day…
Sad conclusion, everyone in the invader's family cries, people die on both sides, the POW doesn't know why he has come to Ukraine, but, as it turns out, he is willing to die for his dictator's plans.
Dima is a crack up! 😂👍 I love the rapport between you both. I think it helps people to be able to watch so many interviews for so long with out breaking down. I’m sure it helps you guys be able to do this for so long. I wish you both peace, strength & happiness. Glory to Ukraine. XB in Oz. 🇦🇺🇺🇦🇦🇺
38:50 She says "..to return home and we forget everything.." Must be nice to ever think you'll forget all you have done to an innocent country and it's people...Smh
That POW regrets deeply being a Russian adult without rights to do as he wished. He genuinely didnt want to go to Ukraine. He cried after seeing his wife and daughter. Putin has made his citizens to be like slaves . Big mature men cant do anything to him and his cohorts. But they agreed to be led by such guys.
As it turns out - These POWs are more afraid of saying something to upset mother Russian than of saying something that might upset Ukrainians. Just what does that tell you about the motherland?
@@barbarad1986 I have a rotating list of about 100 classics. Each day I post 24 (Bingo Card) in the comments and see how I score. It's tough because I'm guessing based on the thumbnail. I really thought this guy signed a contract so I left out the classic mobilized lines like "Our Commander Left" 😆"Infected Birds" also made a comeback today and I didn't predict that...My goal is to get a perfect 24/24
18:50 RPGs can knock out tanks. An RPG was credited with taking out an M1 in Iraq. On September 5, 2007, a PG-29V hit the side turret of an M1 Abrams in Baghdad, killing 2 of the crew and wounding 1, and the tank was seriously damaged. In May 2008, The New York Times disclosed that another M1 Abrams tank had also been damaged by an RPG-29 in Iraq, while fighting Shia militias at Sadr City.
Let's hope returning POWs tell the truth and anger mounts as they won't be silenced. In the WW1 there were PALS (friends) reg8ments formed. A lot of young men from the same district died on the same day. This is tragic but the multiplier effect on a district back home is horrific. Let's us hope this war stops soon to save lives. Call a presidential election in Russia
"Call a presidential election in Russia" Hahaha... for real??.... Russia is a corrupted dictatorial country. People can not call nothing. The president decides for how long he will remain a president
Please, no commercials for BENNETON . The sobbing contest continues. I hate that Putin caused those children to loose their fathers! All Russian prisoners sjould say this.
Well this one likes to fight, his right hand has bruises over the joints. Tiring listening to the same old B.S. about it is not their responsibility to think but to do as they are told. Really? Ukraine Will Win Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦🌻🇺🇦
This is like a scene from the Samual Beckett play, "Waiting for Godot" accept the soldiers are all wondering around waiting for invisible Russian military commanders to appear. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That fellow obviously had to have been capable of forming some kind of reasonable opinion of his desire to fight, flee, or hide to avoid the conflict caused by his country...I don't buy it, that claim to not be a politician...those fellows were coerced to believe they're better killers than Ukrainians, & that's why they non-chalantly enter their conscription or allow their own mobilization to fight.
SCAPEGOAT "not for me to decide." Anything bad I do is NOT MY FAULT. I have no soul. God will never question what I have done. I have no brain or heart. The State is my God. GOOD POINT "...as it turns out" They will only admit something is true if you force them to reason it out. ХОРОШАЯ ТОЧКА "...как выяснилось" Они признают, что что-то правда, только если вы заставите их рассуждать об этом.
Bottom line, they're mindless drones, no clue why they're there and a great deal of their families are only interested in the money. This wife was an exception, she seemed to actually give a damn about her husband.
I think I know why most American POW’s were never videotaped being interviewed. When it got to the point where they’d ask if they’d have anything to say to their fellow Americans, it’d be something like, “Come on over and bring the brimstone for this journalist.” There’s probably a lot of tape on the cutting room floors of many a prison camp studio.
Ukraine needs to use common sense, these Russians are starving.instead of bullets throw chips at them washed down with good Russian vodka.this guy has been through few gallons of vodka u tell by the dark rings around his eyes
Fellas. If I got this right, someone was charging POWs to ring home. I think Dima was trying to get a name. If this is right, he’s a disgrace and should be caught and charged. Hopefully I misunderstood. Despite myself I liked this Russian.
I do think you miss understood, no Ukrainian was charging , they were just joking that Dima can make money if he start to charge for the calls he help the POW with.
He seems intelligent. To bad he's caught in the devil's bargain that is Putin's Russia. Just saw a great music video called "Liliac: Symphony of Destruction (Putin's War)" (The song "Symphony of Destruction" is originally by Megadeath)
but you can imagine them 15/20 in a circle that everyone has their say, and in the meantime the Ukrainians arrive from behind without problems. 10 days earlier in 20 Civilian Life and then thrown into a forest with some weapons and don't know if they should defend or attack.? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 scarface without brain
Please have a goose sitting on the table during interviews. Russian people will understand that. They need a picture book. Words and sentences are hard for them. Please point out the bullshit in a way they can understand. Plus the nato people will have a good laugh. They hate being laughed at, it’s embarrassing for them.
@surfer dess @dpelpal @hicsunt @Q Ball I'm watching this 2 hrs later and the English subs are working now, just not during the premieres for whatever reason
Вова не одевайте кофту в полосках. Тут в Америке только зэки такие носят. Я тоже такое тут гасила пока мне не заделали замечание. Плюс этиполоски ставят нас смотреться полней чем мы есть
