Speak on it Damian! I'm retired from the cosmetology industry, but I feel the same way. Clients go to other folks, let them mess their hair up, want me to "fix it", but don't want to PAY ME for my knowledge to "fix it"!
Love the message and the grey beard/mustache! Thank you for your insightful videos! I started my locs myself in July 2023 and did not wash my hair for 4 wks following the popular trend, but suffered sore scalp, and scales/flakes from seborrheic dermatitis. So I went back to washing every 2 wks with clarifying shampoo (Suave), moisturizing shampoo (Joico), massage my scalp with LivSo hair lotion, then retwist (one a month for now) with hair oil. No more dandruff, no more seborrheic dermatitis, no more itchy scalp. Simple. I quickly learned to do what MY scalp and hair needed me to do for them to be healthy. Thanks for info you give and God bless you!
Nope! It's 50 just to add a wash. I wash my own locs before I get it twisted each time.I love my loctician and I'm happy that my hair is thriving and growing. My question is keeping my locs feeling moisturized. Noooo sir. The gift is your hands. I know product matters, but you are a very skilled shampooer. 😊
A lot of these people doing hair are just that hairstylist and legally they’re not allowed to shampoo because they’re not a licensed cosmetologist. That’s why they asked their clients to come shampooed already.
Damian it looks like you may have eczema on your hands. If I’m wrong my apologies. I have it too but my dermatologist had me try Opzelura and it has changed my life and I can use my hands again. Truly a medical blessing for me.
