The Quran only contains the commands of Allah وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤۡمِنٖ وَلَا مُؤۡمِنَةٍ إِذَا قَضَى ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ أَمۡرًا أَن يَكُونَ لَهُمُ ٱلۡخِيَرَةُ مِنۡ أَمۡرِهِمۡۗ وَمَن يَعۡصِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ فَقَدۡ ضَلَّ ضَلَٰلٗا مُّبِينٗا It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed in a plain error. 33:36 So where did the messenger ﷺ decide a matter in the Quran? إِنَّمَا كَانَ قَوۡلَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ إِذَا دُعُوٓاْ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ لِيَحۡكُمَ بَيۡنَهُمۡ أَن يَقُولُواْ سَمِعۡنَا وَأَطَعۡنَاۚ وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ The only saying of the faithful believers, when they are called to Allah (His Words, the Quran) and His Messenger (SAW), to judge between them, is that they say: "We hear and we obey." And such are the prosperous ones (who will live forever in Paradise). 24:51 So where are the judgements of the messenger ﷺ in the Quran? In fact in the following verse وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُواْ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَأَطِيعُواْ ٱلرَّسُولَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُرۡحَمُونَ And perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and give Zakat and obey the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) that you may receive mercy (from Allah). 24:56 Obeying the messenger is mentioned in isolation. One of the reasons is that you can only know how to pray and give zakat if you follow the sunnah of the messenger ie how he specified it ﷺ
If when you say 'Follow the Sunna' as is relative in today's modern age you mean follow Sahih Al Bukhari and the other Hadith collections then both Abu Bakr and Umar(Caliphs and Companions of The Prophet) banned the writing of Hadith. And if when you say Follow The Sunna as was relative way back then you mean follow the Companions, then the Companions fought and killed each other.
Just an observation on your comment, maybe something that you can take on board. Your understanding it as 'relative'. However, orthodox Muslims do not consider it relative. So, someone coming and saying that it means to follow Bukhari and only the well known collections, then this restriction is false and I haven't heard this from any credible Sunni source. The Hadith that they take are that which are authentically established, regardless of if they are in Saheeh Bukhaari or any other collection, for example the collecñtions of Bayhaqi, Daarimi, AbdurRazzaq and other than those collections. As, for the writing being banned, it is well known that there were narrations written in the presence of the Messenger himself, and it is not the case that the earliest writings were at the time of Bukhari like some propose.
Seyyed Naqvi the writing of Hadith was only stopped during the time the compilation of the Quran as not to mix the two. Second point ; Ayah says “follow in goodness “ وَٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُهَٰجِرِينَ وَٱلۡأَنصَارِ وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوهُم بِإِحۡسَٰنٖ رَّضِيَ ٱللَّهُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَرَضُواْ عَنۡهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمۡ جَنَّٰتٖ تَجۡرِي تَحۡتَهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدٗاۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ And the first to embrace Islam of the Muhajirun (those who migrated from Makkah to Al-Madinah) and the Ansar (the citizens of Al-Madinah who helped and gave aid to the Muhajirun) and also those who followed them exactly (in Faith). Allah is well-pleased with them as they are well-pleased with Him. He has prepared for them Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise), to dwell therein forever. That is the supreme success. 9:100 At-Tawbah, Ayah 100

As for those in whose hearts is deviation [from truth], they will follow that of it which is unspecific, seeking discord and seeking an interpretation [suitable to them]. And no one knows its [true] interpretation except Allah . But those firm in knowledge say, "We believe in it. All [of it] is from our Lord." And no one will be reminded except those of understanding. 12:111 There was certainly in their stories a lesson for those of understanding. Never was the Qur'an a narration invented, but a confirmation of what was before it and a detailed explanation of all things and guidance and mercy for a people who believe. 16:89 And [mention] the Day when We will resurrect among every nation a witness over them from themselves. And We will bring you, [O Muhammad], as a witness over your nation. And We have sent down to you the Book as clarification for all things and as guidance and mercy and good tidings for the Muslims. None of these verses are references to a Hadith but the Qur'an. God is speaking directly to the prophet. How do you follow the prophet? You do so through Qur'an.

Even people in different sects and madhubs have a different form. There is no standardized way of praying. Look in Qur'an yourself and learn, only Allah guides nobody else.
