I always say this, not taking the shahada is like declining a free ticket, a lot of non Muslims get scared to take it because they believe they have to be perfect once they've taken it but no, its step by step & what's important is to secure your ticket first before time runs out, & then you can learn about what you need to pack after, many people worry they need to pack first before taking the shahada and think once they have everything ready they'll then look for the ticket, but in reality you're not guaranteed to find that ticket, its either you take that chance before death takes you

️There was many occasions were slaves were purchased just to set them free,When Islam came, there were many causes of slavery, such as warfare, debt (where if the debtor could not pay off his debt, he became a slave), kidnapping and raids, and poverty and need ,so islam help in removing it ,Actually slavery was there before the time the prophet (peace be upon him)so Islam came to stop this thing and Allah told us to free slaves so basically islam did help of ending slavery.

Those guys look good and sincere. InsyaAllah they will say syahadah sooner or later. Amin.

تسلل يهودي حسن الوجه والثياب لمجلس المأمون العباسي وجلس ضمن الجالسين ، فتكلم اليهودي فعرفه المأمون ، فقال له : انت يهودي؟ فقال : أرجوك لا تفضحني ولا تكشفني ! فقال المأمون : إن أسلمت اجزلت لك العطاء وأمنتك من قومك فلا يقربك أحد . فقال اليهودي : ديني ودين آبائي يمنعوني من الإسلام ، فلا تحرجني ودعني أفكر ثم إن اقتنعت سآتيك. فتركه .. فلما كان بعد سنة ، جاء وهو مسلم مُوّحد وفاجأ الرجل المأمون والجالسين من المسلمين ، وكانوا جمعاً غفيراً أنه يتكلم في الفقه فأحسن الكلام ، وتكلم في القرٱن فأحسن الكلام والجميع في ذهول ..!! فلما انفض المجلس دعاه المأمون فقال: ألست صاحبنا اليهودي الذي طلبت الإمهال ! قال : بلى. قال المأمون : قل يارجل أي شيء دعاك إلى الإسلام، وقد كنت عرضته عليك فأبيت. قال : إِني أحسن الخط، فمضيت فكتبت ثلاث نسخ من التوراة ،فزدت فيها ونقصت وأدخلتها البيعة ، فبعتها، فاشتُراها الناس ولم يلاحظوا أو يعترضوا . ثم استطرد الرجل قائلا : وكتبت ثلاث نسخ من الإنجيل، فزدت فيها ونقصت فأدخلتها إلى الكنيسة فاشتراها الناس ولم يلاحظوا أو يعترضوا . ولما عمدت إلى القرآن فكتبت ثلاث نسخ فزدت فيها ونقصت ، وأدخلتها إلى الوراقين ، فكلما تصفحوها فرأوا الزيادة والنقصان رموا بالزيادة في وجهي ونظروا إليّ نظرة احتقار وازدراء ، فعلمت أن هذا الكتاب محفوظ. فتذكرت آية في كتابكم وهي قول الخالق الحق : " إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُوْن " فكان هذا المصحف وهذا الكتاب الذي هو حقاً لا يأتيه الباطل من بين يديه ولا من خلفه هو سبب إسلامي ، فأنا اشهد انه لا إله إلا الله وأن محمدا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم. المنتظم فى تاريخ الملوك والأمم / لابن الجوزي (٢٢٠/٣)
