I have always found these torture methods fascinating. Yes, they're horrible, but these people were rather creative when all is considered. You can shoot someone or electrocute them, sure, but I just find it fascinating with the thought process behind them. One torture method that I've come across that wasn't in this video is something called Scaphism. It is an ancient torture method done by the Persians, and what they would do is force you into a log or put you between two boats, leaving your head exposed. Then they would feed you milk and honey until you were practically about to burst. Once that was done, they would then leave you out in the middle of a pond or alone in an area. As your crapping and urinating on yourself, flies and other bugs would come and enter the case, and they would start eating you alive and lay eggs there. The executioner would come every day and feed you more milk and honey until bursting, and the torture could last for weeks until you die of septic shock.
