Gentleman’s Choice is a great documentary and it was on RU-vid. I was very close with Bill Moody (Paul bearer) for about ten years or more up until he died and I would constantly beg him to talk about world class championship wrestling and his time in Texas. I loved that territory so much as a kid. Chris Adams was my favorite. He didn’t really have much to say about him except “him and John Tatum have seen more ass than a toilet seat” 😂😂 and that he was a legit tough guy with judo training. The documentary is fascinating. The guy that killed Chris was his best friend. I’m excited to see the show on Sherri as well. She also lived in Alabama for a while and meeting her was a blast. Very sweet woman and tough as nails. @@crichtonleprechaun5222 cottaghill road to be 100% accurate lol. That’s where Moody lived. He was about three streets over from where I live now, I pass the old house every day. Moody was a wild man himself. Wicked sense of humor. I wish he were still around. His podcast would be the biggest thing in wrestling.

Chris Adams SUPER KICK has become one of the most popular and loved moves (although overused ala the DDT) ever created. And his was the BEST, still to today. IMO.

Chris seemingly let his abilities go to his head. Obviously had an overblown ego. Getting involved with drugs helped none. That brawl somewhere ended his life.

On Twitter, I suggested these episodes for the upcoming season when they asked: 1. Racism in the industry, past AND present. 2. Black Saturday (WWF’s takeover of Georgia Championship Wrestling/WCW). 3. Revolution’s “Radical” defection to the WWE. 4. The Sensational Life of Sherri Martell 5. Talking All That Sheet: “Dirt Sheets” 6. Pat Patterson’s scandals At least 2 of my suggestions made it! 😂😂

I think on number 1, I think it's you that's trying to start something. You will be causing a lot of controversy on that one. But every race deals with race, including white people that get racially stereotyped.

Chris Adam’s had excellent judo. His brother is a famous Olympian. Ron Simmons is a beast but if him and Chris Adam’s went at it, Ron was not guaranteed a win. Not this time. Chris Adam’s got away with a lot because he knew most people couldn’t physically hang with him.
