I just have to say, as a woman who worked as a bartender/server for a decade, a customer asking for your number is a literal nightmare especially the pushy ones. If you give them a fake, they know where you work so they can find you again. If you tell them no, they get shitty and best case scenario, they don't leave a tip. I've had men wait in the parking lot for me after I've closed down the store. It's actually terrifying.

my friend gets super curt & aggressive with men who get pushy. so far it’s worked for her. (she said she “realized it’s a battle of wills. they make you uncomfortable, make them fear for their well-being. don’t even bother being polite” which is super metal of her. UGH. I worked in a coffee shop and a bookstore for 9 years, and one guy stalked me from my morning job at the bookstore TO my evening shift at the coffee shop for days on end, and I have never been so freaked out. Had my brother-in-law start meeting me at work in the evening to ride the bus home with me, and that made him stop, but god damn. Terrifying.

As a former waitress at a small bar in my college town where I would usually be the only girl staffed for the night shift, I know this pain as well. It’s probably worse with drunk guys. I have quite a few stories and stalkers I’d like to forget. Thankfully, the guys that worked there were golden and always offered to walk me home at 2:30 am.

Theres a 24 hour coffee stand chain where I live and they give the night shift workers a whole ass armory of creep preventers lmao I was friends with someone who worked there and she said they had cans of mace below the register and they allowed women with carry permits and safety certifications to bring their pistols. They've never had anything bad happen and it makes sense lol

Is it because I'm a gentlemen? Nah, that notion's from the 18 hundreds. It's because, objectively, women are more of a "target" than men are. That's the shitty world we live in. So pay no mind to the "not all men" douchebags that might pop in on your comments. I hear ya, and you're absolutely right. The Ranboo wallscreen on the phone for the case ad got me wheezing. Also a collab that I was not expecting but am very very glad that it happened, the chaotic energy is just constantly buzzing, especially with Ryan's crazed looks of wanting the character to either get hurt or hurt someone else.
