If anyone doesn’t understand why Jayson acted that way. When he missed the 4 ball at 9:50 Dennis Hatch yelled “great shot” and Jayson muttered good sportsmanship
Good call, I heard it but didn't realize it was Dennis saying that. Always thought he was a bit arrogant. A car salesman who happens to be a talented pool player but just rubs me the wrong way.. Love Jayson's reaction though.
@@joeyvanleeuwen5229 i agree other one is rodney morris. the way he tried to humiliate albin on albin's debut mosconi series was sickening. after this match dennis played deciding match against filler. no way of winning the mosconi cup he definitely "Spot Fix" some of his shot to earn some side income. some people would say i'm crazy for saying this, in that match there are definite sound cues from the audience before he miss pot a ball. look at this match there are no sounds from the audience before SVB missed a pot.
I was there. There were some well timed thuds from the Euro side when all was supposed to be quiet. Very poor sports. The chanting and yelling is encouraged and equal from both sides. 2019 was SWEET REVENGE! USA!
From someone who is used to watching (and playing) snooker, this is a bit weird to watch. In our matches the crowd is usually respectful to both players, and the players are 99% of the time respectful to each other too. Is this how it always goes in this game, or was it for a special occasion? I mean, the crowd seems to be very rude.
@@lelyollo4926 most of this is theatrics for what most would call the super bowl of american pocket billiars. Outside of the mosconi cups most of these guys are friendly and respectful to each other.
when you bring the pool hall to the tournament, this happens. It's been at least 70+ years since Pool was regarded as a gentlemen's sport. For the last 50 or so it's been seen as dirty, full of hustlers and criminals, with smokey pool halls full of gambling, prostitution, drugs, and degenerates.
Shane was lucky to even get 4 racks. He made so many mistakes that were so much worse than most of the mistakes Jason did, and he’s lucky that he didn’t get punished as much as he should have been. Even as an American I would have been heartbroken to see Jason lose this because he was genuinely the better player on this day.
@@danielmoore7097 **IT'S CLOSE,, THOUGH.... WHEN THEY PLAYED TO 100,,, SHANE WON,,, I WANT TO SAY FIVE RACKS... AND THEY WERE TIED AT ABOUT 75... THEY ARE BOTH UNBELIEVABLY GOOD!!! I'VE NEVER SEEN SHANE CHOKED BEFORE,,, BUT CHOKE,, HE DID....**
Don't think he choked though. One shot, he tried to cheat the pocket and the other, he left too straight and had to blast it. He knows how to handle pressure
Man, the pressure and anxiety flowing through both men's veins is extremely palpable to the degree that I feel like my life depends on each shot they take 🤣
Pretty un-sporting display on potting the final black and throwing your cue on the floor! Not great sportsmanship considering he was lucky to be back at the table after that stupid jump shot. A sportsman would have shaken hands with his opponent and acknowledged his good fortune.
@@calmbeforetheestorm nah man that celebration is for stuff like coming back after trailing...shit was literally hill-hill and only had in two easy balls. Just a little bit of an over reaction
Bro his hype is not so much the fact that he made 2 easy shots, it's more about how the entire game was riding on those 2 easy shots and that type of pressure knowing the entire match is at stake if he folds. That type of pressure will make anybody miss the easy shot. Another thing about the easy shots for these guys is the fact that they should never miss those... it's harder to do than the impossible looking ones because the margin of error on impossible shots is always high as fuck which makes taking the shot and missing much more acceptable and easy to live with.
Reason USA always get thumped year in year out is that they don’t have the same fire in the belly and testosterone that the Europeans have. Look at shaws passion here compared to robots like svb Tyler etc
If I was Shaw instead of celebrating at the end of that when I would have hung my head and shame for the way I played. Both played terrible and neither deserve to win let alone celebrate like you ran five racks. I saw both of them make mistakes that my 88-year-old grandpa wouldn't make.
Isn't it the USA that comes to the aid of all other countries in need, First and with the Most resources... Just one of many reasons Americans have to be proud... Maybe you could tell us about your great country...? Could it be one of Many that the US military protects or Gov. subsidizes on American tax dollars....?
Any other player in the American team would have hammered Shaw ,but Boenning has alwayes been the Amreicans weakest player too error prone They should both go and have a chat with effren reyes
@@dalerobertson138 i have not denied that he is definitely the best player in the world , i am playing this game since 18 years , this shot he played is very unprofessionally
You have no idea what shot and what strategy Shane van Boening was intended to play. You need to be less arrogant before publish such a pathetic comment.
Jayson seriously celebrating in SVB's corner after he choked? Unsportsmanlike and the cheapest win I've seen in the Mosconi Cups. Honestly, I really want to like Shaw and Filler, but their antics make it really difficult.
honestly i dont mind it. He was in foreign territory and everyone was rooting against him. The celebrated every miss he had and Dennis Hatch taunted first. Im honestly glad he shoved it in their faces. And just to be clear, his gripe wasnt with SvB, he shook hands and all. He was angr7 at the US crowd
I don’t know why i feel you guys are very average players compared to snooker players like Judd, Ronnie, I really don’t think you guys can beat pool match to Ronnie, Selby and other great names.
Jason isn't bothered about the Americans being rude coz the Scottish Irish and brits all think Americans are cringe when it comes to chanting and being a rowdy crowd they are a bunch of fairies
The American player is afraid and nervous. He knows that the opponent is very strong, so it caused him tension, and here the adults appear when the victory approaches. The focus is the one who decides things, so the American player was nervous
This match is one of the most incredible matches I've ever seen! I was trembling and shaking and I even cried at the end. Wow oh wow! Mind you, this wasn't a well played pool match but you've got two titans, drama, death, and resurrection. It's epic!
@@19KNVB Yea, I did. I can't help it. Seeing people rise above the moment gets me. You should see me at marathon races. The 60 year old lady running her first race? It's gut wrenching.
@@gtab1268 The funny thing is that I'm not emotionally involved in sports. I don't watch team sports and but every once in a while something in the Olympics or a pool or tennis match will come around that has me frozen to the screen.
First Efren eat SVB alive with 60+ years just search the video imagine Efren in his prime so no, SVB isn’t the GOAT for sure! Second Shaw only screams because one dude from team USA trash talk when he miss a ball the reaction at the end is the payback and he went for it 😂😂😂
