Def way off on most of his comments. I can't even count how many times he says good shot on a shot that's no better then a less then decent shot. Also, he conjects incorrectly almost every inning.

Earl is the only pool commentator's voice I ever want to hear again. No banter, no BS. Engages you in the rack. Explains the shots. This is the first time I've ever heard pool commentary done right.

I love when Earl makes a little joke and cracks himself up and starts chuckling or laughing. Just makes it so much more fun to listen to him having a good time. I hope Earl doesn't feel the need to call every shot. Especially a quick-draw like this kid Labutis. He should throw in more anecdotes of his experiences. "I remember playing Nick Varner one time..." I'm sure all of us pool players would get a kick out of his stories.

I think calling every shot is what make Earl unique in commentating and it's great because even if he is wrong we know how he thinks about the shots - spin every time to win! Just my thoughts.

I believe that Earl Strickland is a hall of fame pool commentary person. He is the right person at the right time, You need to hire him to do the play by play for any big time match or tournament. i have played for 50 years and been a professional pool instructor since 2007. This guy is amazing to take it to the common player. Way to go Earl you got a great second carrier.

Well, to be fair, he talked a lot but he backed it up with his game. After all, the guy is one of the top 5 best pool players that ever lived, so, at least he talked the talk and walked the walk. Could talk a little less, but at least that gave him that spark that is the personality.

Seriously! He's a tremendously accurate quick fire shooter. Looks like he lines absolutely everything up down to the smallest detail before he even gets down on the shot and then all he has to do is deliver the cue in about a second. Great talent.

Great commentary..This guy earl owns up to it when he guesses wrong which is very rarely. If the players choices were better, he give them credits and told exactly what they did to get there. If the players choices were worse, he told what not to do. ABSOLUTELY fantastic. I have been watching pool videos for years. This is the only time I can just finish watching one video and watch the same video like an hour later. I feel like I just die and went to pool heaven with Earl commentating. Keep them coming.

wow, a new episode every tuesday? that's godsend. thank you so much for setting this up, BN. I'll be very happy to subscribe just to listen to Earl analyze each shot with added suggestions on how he thinks the players will play each shot. Lots to learn just from listening to the Pearl. I hope Earl is open to commentate on other players as well as I believe lots of pool fans like myself will love to hear his thoughts on different player styles based on his own experience playing against them or someone else like them! Love Earl’s commenting. Most of us would state a comment below when the person commenting tries to predict what the players are going to do and get it wrong. I don’t think Earl is wrong, the players are playing the wrong shot. It is hard to argue against Earl. Earl stays current on what is happening in today’s pool, he has played against most of the current big name pool players and Earl has multiple World Championships in different discipline in pool.

It's AWESOME to hear Earl again!!! He has a HIGH pool IQ, Plus he gives accurate information on what the players are doing.... NOBODY else does this and I don't know why? If one is giving commentary on a billiards match it should be mandatory to focus on the game!! Just my opinion.
