SVG reminds me a bit of Jim Richards. Multi talented across many disciplines makes for one hell of a driver wanting to grasp the next challenge by the balls. With the right backing makes for one hell of a step in respect of the talent on offer. So deserving.
Yeah go Shane. And go the two Scott's. The other ex Supercars champ, Scott McLaughlin won the Indycars last weekend and one of the other 3 Kiwi Indycar drivers, The Iceman Dixon won the previous weekend. 🎉
I'm an Aussie but l love when Kiwi's and Aussies smash the rest of the world. Loved SVG win in Chicago, yanks dont seem to know how to battle it out in tight close quarters racing on a circuit with bends😂Just like in Sail GP Toby in the Dakar and when Ambrose was I Nascar. But what l cant abide is that f***'n elusive Bledisloe Cup 🤣
@@MatthewDavis-p2p do ya not know what ex-champion means? he is no longer in the V8 supercars, which he won 2 championships in. therefore he is an EX-CHAMPION!
It's ok to prefer the slower racing formats like F1 and WRC, just don't pretend like they can hang with these guys on oval tracks. SVG is an all-time Aussie great and now he's doing OK in NASCAR's 2nd-tier division.
@@RyRyMTD You're not getting my point. F1 race cars routinely slow to speeds around 45-60 mph in tight turns, while NASCAR races at 180+ around medium to large ovals. Anyone can reduce drag and weight and add HP, that's what land speed racing is about. Barring the shortest tracks, it's the NACAR racing format that's faster than F1 or WRC, not the cars.
