Considering the car he had this is an unbelievable result

Well he did well in Talladega earlier in the year, but he also had a better crew chief. This current crew chief doesn’t know what the hell he’s doing. When Josh Williams had him as a crew chief he was regularly running down the back of the field. Since the crew chief has gone to SVG, Josh Williams is getting good results. How can Kaulig keep this guy on their payroll when he’s so bad? SVG was having to tell him what adjustments to make and what pressures to run from inside the car, and he’s only a rookie. That’s crazy.

SVG comms: Lap 26: car is terrible loose in loose out then gets tight on acceleration and has no grip. Lap59: how are we so bad? Effen terrible, feels like we haven't even changed tyres. Lap 144 don't know what we need to do but effen start again, sorry but it's hard to be positive. Lap 199 after passing Jesse love for P8...woooo hooo

it's seem to me all the playoff drivers is arguing of racing each other hard and svg is minding his own business lol if they arguing all the way to roval race it think svg will take advantage of it

In his Supercars days, he’d do a lot of overcutting - get plenty of clear air running and fresh tyres near the end. E: somewhat different environment to NASCAR, mind you

Good recovery. Pace was very strong at 5he end. As a team it seems it’s one step forward two steps backwards. All three cars unload off pace and have to play catch up. They got away with this one but let’s hope next eeek they can contend for stage points..
