Feels like he's still with us.. it's very very hard to comprehend the reality that he's no more.. RIP Sir.. the cricketing world will remember you forever.
There are many who know these techniques and can bowl these deliveries. But, a great like Shane Warne knows when to use which and also to be dead accurate. There are not many bowlers who are accurate enough. Kumble, Mcgrath, Murali, and Warne are known for their consistent and accurate deliveries.
This was the video that got me into leg spin. After watching it a few times the ball just started to turn. You have a heart of gold and was honest to the public that you enjoy your life and that’s who you are. You are a person who would stop to help someone feel better than before. May your soul Rest In Peace Shane K Warne ❤️
I love leg spin. It was always the most mysterious and interesting form of bowling for me. When I was a teenager I was the only person at my school interested in spin bowling, everyone else wanted to be a quick. I read a book by Ian Meckiff on spin bowling and thought that would be good enough for me. I practiced and dreamed of being the great Aussie leg spinner. Then Warnie appeared out of nowhere, same age as me, playing for Australia, and I was a fan from day one.
RIP Shane. You changed Leg Spin forever, you changed the game, your commentary will be sorely missed, you were wonderful explaining things and has always done it with passion. You lived a 100 normal lives in your 52 years. Legend.
I learned leg spin and variations from this video. It's just so hard to digest that he is no more! Rest in power true magician and master of wrist spin
this video was the video that taught me how to bowl leg spin, 6 years back. I used to come back to it every now and then. Shane warne reached the end of his career when I was very young, but this video is what changed the way I bowled. RIP king❤️ Your legacy will live on. Always.
As an Aussie, I love how many of our Indian and Sub-Continent friends like this video. India often got the better of Warne, so it could be easy for fans to dismiss him, but I'm glad many of these people can still admire his immense talent. Much love.
I learnt to do leg spin bowling just by looking at Shane Warne's bowling. His bowling is so simple and straightforward, anybody can learn leg spin through that. What a phenomenal legend he was. He will be always missed❤❤.
My childhood comes back to me. Shane Warn was my spin idol and my batsmen idol as Sachin. India, Pakistan and Australia = best teams. Bangladesh are amazing too. So much love for Shane, the australians are so close and happy - g'day. ;)
I don’t know if knighthood’s can be given posthumously, but if they can, I think Shane should be given one for both his character and inspiration and also for the work he did for charity. I say, rest in peace Sir Shane.
When you take into consideration the state of the wicket, rough areas etc, this becomes irresistible. Thanks Shane for a great life in the art of leg spin. RIP Gatting!!
I never made a bowler's backside myself but I watch this fascinating video every 5 months or so, just so I have more chance of spotting these deliveries when watching cricket on the box. So I've watched it maybe 5-6 times, but for the first time I'm heavily struck with sadness in doing so. Thanks for all the memories, Shane, from a Kiwi who knows an utter legend when he sees one.
This is fascinating stuff, I never realised there was so much to it - I doubt if there would be a single batsman who faced him at the crease, who never misread a Warne delivery.
Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else wants to discover how to improve your cricket game download for pc try Knewreck Cricket Lessons Guide (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my m8 got excellent results with it.
About 1 and a half years ago, I was bowling pace, not really making the ball swing or cut. I then got home and watched this video and then tried it out in the nets and it was good for my first try. Now, I am bowling leg spin for my county (not country, don't read it wrong) . This video has changed my cricket, thank you for uploading it.
@@hassanrizwan6766 I just rediscovered by interest in cricket, this was the first video that came to my mind . Back in school I watched this video and bowled like crazy whole day practicing it . His voice - " wrong'un ' always comes in my mind while playing the spin . Glad you got those memories :)
Learned spin from the legend Shane Warne around 2016-2017 through this video , my greatest flex in bowling is my spin due to this guy . Even when I didn't play for 2 years , my hand movements everything is in my muscle memory is only the spin and I always remember the voice - " wrong 'un'. Om shanti Shane Warne .
Can you tell me how to implement the flipper as part of the delivery action I understood the technique in silos but finding it difficult to merge with the delivery action
I'm still following this legend's advise through this video whenever I found myself out of form in bowling leg spin.... Legends always leave their footprints...U'll always be missed Legend 🥺... RIP Sir 😓❤️
This video is a gem for the art of leg spin. Can't believe he's no more. Was a great ambassador and mighty figure in the game of Cricket. Used to love his post retirement match insights, commentary, should have gone for years like that ... RIP magician 😭
This was the first ever cricket tutorial video and the only one I've seen for learning purpose. I was around 13 or 14. I started to bowl leg spin after seeing Shane Warne and I tried bowling around the wicket too RIP 😢😢
This video encourages me to work hard and be a good leg spinner for team India if given chance . Had a dream to meet Shane Warne and know about some of his other mystery bowls but he left this world early
The best spinner of all time, pure joy to watch, how to set a batsman up with the real art and heart of a diligent and clever master spinner. No one will ever come close to the great S.K.Warne!!!
interesting points ,if anyone else needs to find out about cricket batting tips book try Jaffacter Cricket Player Coach (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my colleague got cool results with it.
This video needs to be preserved for posterity. His genius and his capacity to give needs to be shared with all cricket lovers of the present and future generations.

I remember watching this video in 2012! I practiced Warneys flipper relentlessly for like 2 yrs straight 😂 to this day I have a pretty good flipper when I'm in tue backyard messing around with the family😂 thanks to the king of Leg Spin Shane Warne👑 miss yah in the commentary box bro!❤
Staggering the way that all the spins look the same when delivered but are obviously not. Must have been an absolute nightmare to play against. RIP Legend. Gone but never forgotten
I was in great need of this turtorial. I was desparate to learn it. I still can't find out how do you spin the ball so much. If i could also do that but i am practicing. King of Spin Shane Warne absolute legend thank you very much:D
I love this guy so much always called myself shane Warne when I was little trying the leg break with his style with a tennis ball. Respect from Pakistan.
His action is quiet deceptive. Even though he explains it in theory quier clearly it would be very difficult to read from the hands off a bowler of his calibre. A rookee leg spinner would be easier to read off the hand.
Sir. Shane the greatest ever leg spinner , I still remember the matches where it was warne vs Tendulkar , and I used to support warne despite me being indian . Rip to a legend
There's another video where Shane is facing one of the Guardians journalists in the nets. In that video, he said he liked to face guys who could pick his deliveries because they might know it's an off break but they're not sure how much it will turn.
Man I remember watching this video around the summer of 2010. I was playing junior reps at that time and my dad also being a Leggie told me to watch Warne's wrist position to understand what I should target as THE standard. Unfortunately both SK Warne and my dad had orders of magnitude more talent than me lol RIP. (Old man played FC in SL in the 80s & he also played in the centenary Royal-Thomian match people in SL will know)
