That style Ying Nan is using is Tai Chi. It involves using, manipulating, and redirecting your opponent's strength and force against him/her.

What part exactly does Ying Nan say "you are your mother, and whether you like it or not you are your father" In the scene where she trains Shang-Chi she says Your a product of all who came before you. A legacy of your family the good and the bad. It is all apart of who you are." Does she say the first part only in the trailer? I need to know D:

I also think Ying nan. Because she could teach easily to her nephew that how Ying Li defeated his father. We can see in this scene, Her nephew couldn't fight with her at first but after she taught 2,3 steps, he learnt to stop her kicks and attacked her. So, He won his father in climax of the movie.
