This is part 1 of our ultimate hotel tour of Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia. We understand that it's NOT the oldest hotel in KL but it is definitely one of the first three to be built by the Shangri-La chain of hotels & resorts. So that means it earns a spot in our history books. We find it very well located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur & it's service is still one of the best we enjoyed. Room choices are great & The Horizon Club is also amazing! We find ourselves coming back here a lot just to relax & chill.... please do watch part 2 when it's available online!

First of all what a lovely family you are . We are booking this hotel for our trip later in the year , what an amazing hotel it looks and we would go for the horizon club room like you did , thanks for a great video and really detailing the hotel , we’re from just outside London 🇬🇧

We also have been to both Tanjung Aru & Rasa Ria many many years ago but didn’t Vlog about it… Remembered we had a great time there too especially Rasa Ria KK. Fingers crossed & hoping that we get a chance to do a hotel tour there too one day…🔥♥️

Thanks for your detailed review. I have 2 questions, if you book a horizon club room premier suite (similar to the one you booked) for 2 adults 2 kids 15 and 10, do they offer extra bed FOC or need pay? Does breakfast at Lemon Garden is included in the room price. Thanks.

Hi Reena! Thanks for watching & commenting :) 1) Once you book online & mention how old your children are they will auto calculate & include the extra bed… (pls double check with reservations on this) anyone above 12 yrs they will consider as an adult. ( i know the pain… my daughter was 12 at that time🥲 ) 2)Breakfast also will most likely already be calculated & included in the total price once you typed in the number of Guests… (again pls contact reservations on this… just to be safe) Am sure you & family will enjoy your stay there because we definitely did!♥️ Don’t forget to watch our Part 2 video as we also featured cool family activities that are FOC for the whole family to enjoy!
