We go to Singapore a lot since we got family. Last time we stayed in Shangri-La, in the garden wing. An absolutely stunning hotel and the best buffet I’ve ever had. Shangri-La best hotel in Singapore. Highly recommended.
I stayed at the peninsula Hong Kong during COVID for a good price with breakfast included ( served at the table , not buffet). The best hotel breakfast I have ever had.
Been lucky to have stayed in some excellent 5 star hotels like the swiss hotel stamford in singapore, 5 palm and jw marriott marquis in dubai but the shangri-la in singapore is hands down the most swanky and best hotel I've ever stayed in. Was in a garden wing room with pool view as well. Treated my mum to the mothers day afternoon tea when we was there..and it was fantastic ! One day I'd def like to stay there again...budget permitting that is..
Next time pls try Valley Wing. (around $700 plus after GST and Taxes) very classy and exclusive area of the Shangri La The guests in that valley are given privileged treatment. Very much better than Ritz Cartlon Club room (around $900 plus after GST and Taxes) In Valley Wing , you get a glass of champagne all day plus afternoon tea in 3 tier stand, evening light dinner, and very classy breakfast. If you book Valley Wing one bedroom suite, you will have butler attending to you .. That is the reason why I love this hotel.

They were both fantastic! Shangri-La does have a much higher room capacity so it felt a lot busier than Four Seasons. So because of this, there was more of a personal touch with service at Four Seasons.
