EveryGenreOfMusic Loved her for 18 years, and I'm 19 years old. Have her autograph - such a devoted fan. I was only alive for the UP! album which is my favourite. I've waited my entire life for Shania to release new music. I've never once strayed from her music in that 15 year wait. She is the best musician out there, she has it all and she still keeps on giving.

51 years old and she looks better than ever!! After 15 years, i'm so happy Shania is back with new music, i love her, i was just 5 years old when she released her last album. Usually when artists comeback after a big time out of making music videos, the new ones tend to be shitty or live music videos, but Shania truly did a masterpiece here, the video reminds me a little of "forever & for always". was driving home and heard this song for the first time...thought to myself "who is this?" then it clicked. "SHANIA! Missed hearing her on the radio :D used to listen to her as a kid in the car, her cassette tapes. I grew up on country but Shania was the start of it all. Shania first came to my attention with the come on over album I was only 18.. I would play it on a loop. Me and my mum would watch her live DVD’s constantly. My mum was my best friend. Me and my mum saw Shania in Manchester in 2004 on her UP tour. It was a dream for both of us. Sadly my mum passed away in 2012 suddenly and I’ve been bereft ever since. I saw Shania again in 2018 at the same venue in Manchester but this time my mother wasn’t with me. I cried for most of the concert. I love you Shania 💖… Thanks for the songs and the memories you’ve given me.

I saw some comments about autotune but I got tired of replying to them trying to explain them that it's all about the vocal layering because there are many backing vocals, it's got nothing to do with autotune. I think what people need to remember is that this is one song of 16. Of the other 11 tracks I've heard, there's much stronger material but this is such a light, summery and triumphant song that it makes sense to lead with. Swingin' With My Eyes Closed and Who's Gonna Be Your Girl are out and out classic Shania Twain songs. Home Now takes the classic Shania sound and pushes it, We Got Something They Don't is a triumphant love song that everyone will love, Soldier is a tender ballad that will tug at heartstrings, Roll Me On The River is a rock out song perfect for road trips. You might not like Life's About To Get Good, but I can guarantee there's something on 'NOW' for everyone!

I'm just happy that she's released a double LP in the 21st Century. I expected that she would have a wealth of stuff and things to write and sing about. I wouldn't mind a cover song or two either. I always wonder: If a favorite artist has released 16 original tracks, why would ANY fan choose to purchase the "Standard Edition"? It's "The Deluxe, complete, full-length Edition" for me, Baby!

I'm Alright is lyrically like Life's About To Get Good - the verses are about Shania's pain and hurt, but then the chorus is a realisation that she's alive despite everything, and she's alright. Production wise, it builds gorgeously - it starts with an acoustic guitar and as the song goes on, strings and drums come in!

In 2014, on a family trip to DC, I discovered my then wife was having an affair during the entire marriage. I was devastated, beyond grief and sadly suicidal. My life was over, as i knew it, and jumping in front of a semi seemed logical. But at that time, GOD decided to carry me, little did I know. Fast forward 6 years, in mid 2020, I had a heart to heart with my Father, and asked Him to bless me with the woman i deserve or bring me home to Him. I met my now wife, September 11th, 2020, and asked her to marry me on Thanksgiving that year. We married a year later on her late dads birthday and my moms birthday. I know now that God always has a plan for us, and the journey might look ugly, but with faith in Him, that plan He has always comes to life. My hope was His plan! Thank you for this song, Shania! It got me thru the difficulty of life.

This music video is beautiful. The colors represents joy and summer. The plot takes from being down to getting back to life. The theme just points to breaking out of yout sheltered shell to freedom. I love it! And what it makes it beautiful is Shania Twain making new music. That's a gift to humanity and to this decade!

I noticed that Shania used video concepts or attire from previous videos for this one....the Man, I feel like a woman attire; The blue jeans outfit from Any Man of Mine video; and the outdoor concept of Forever and For Always. This is genius and still beautiful.

Parleral She's always understood the relationship, the marriage of the music that she creates and the videos that accompany them. She really created widely inventive videos from 1995-2002. Now she's in a different era - she's using those props she's became forever associated with to communicate the past and the present. The differences and the changes in her, her style and her music. As she's been away from the music industry for a long time in this way - she's maybe seen that her RU-vid video views while very inventive aren't that of the new artists today and she's tried to incorporate old and new while still remaining her true, authentic self. She's always been good at marketing herself

most of the stuff they were removing from her closet in the center of the video were also costumes, clothing, and props from earlier videos and concerts. I watched the behind the scenes stuff and apparently one of her other videos that were released alongside this one also had the cheetah print gloves from one of her older videos as well... It might be worth digging into her newer music videos for more hints of her past hits and looks. (;
